Dave Johnson

Dave Johnson of 716 Bert Yarbro Road, Vale, NC 28168. This contractor was a referral. The contractor came to my home 7/23/2018. The contractor looked around the exterior of the home and gave an invoice of cost in the amount of $1600 to power wash, scrape and paint the exterior of the house. The contractor came back on 7/24/2018 power washed the house and discuss paint color, of which as the client I had to purchase (first red flag) 7/24/2018 Dave the contractor and his worker returned begin scrapping and painting, they worked a while and stated they would return on 7/28/2018 to complete the scrapping and painting - Dave was a no-show. 7/30/2018 Dave called and stated he was sick and could not work because he had to see his doctor and that he would return to the job on 7/31/2018. 8/1/2018 called and stated he was waiting on money to get gas to come to the job. 8/1/2018 Another excuse why he could not make it to the job. That's when we called his previous boss who apologized and stated that Dave misrepresented himself and that he was only hired as a scrapper. Do not hire Dave Johnson he is a SCAM. As you can see from the pictures included part of the front and side has 1 coat of paint, the back of the house and carport has not paint, the floor of the porch has paint spots all over it, there was little to no scrapping completed back and front.
