General Remodeling
Paul started the work after we gave him a $10,000.00 deposit. He was difficult to work with, impatient and argumentative. At one point we found him trying to substitute a different flooring for the one we had chosen. He completed work valued at approximately $4,300.00 by his figures and then quit. He refused to return our phone calls or respond to our e-mails. We gave him every opportunity to complete the work we paid for, but we ultimately had to hire another contractor to finish the job. Now we have lost nearly $6,000.00 to this man and will probably never get the money back. To make the situation even worse, he refused to submit a claim to the insurance company, so we unable to even collect anything on the home owners insurance.
