They requested their money upfront.  Also, did not have proper tools to perform the jobs.  I had to supply basic tools.  They didn't have a tarp to cover the open areas.  I had to use my own tarp.  They were very sparatic as to when they came out, and the actual contractor would only come out for a half an hour to drop the crew off. I was also requested to supply lunch, soda and water to his crew, and that I would be reimbursed.  My tarp is now damaged because it has nail holes in it.  The lunch and soda came to $17.40, and water was $8.  The tarp was 39.00 + tax.  His emails went from being repentive to telling me I was crazy.  He wanted to come out and get the ladder he left but I told him that was ok, but the police will be there so everything is smooth.  He didn't' want the police there. I terminated the contract because of personal reasons, I just didn't feel comfortable with his work ethic and his actual work was not good.  I had to pick up trash in the yard from the crew, and put it in a bag he supplied, but that bag is still sitting in my driveway, he will not remove it, and he is now refunding some money.
