"Customer, I am sorry you are not pleased with the work I completed for you. As I told you from the beginning, I only came to your house back in December because I had a job within 5 miles of your house. You live 52 miles from me! I explained this to you the day I was there. Also, I gave you a discounted rate for my service call. $65? Really? [[[I just paid a Septic contractor $100 to drive ten miles to tell me my septic was working properly!]]] And you complain about $65 when I actually spent nearly an hour (with a helper) diagnosing your issue AND correcting the issue! I am quickly realizing I am too nice to people sometimes! I am truly sorry you cannot see the value of the work I actually completed or the reason I cannot drive 104 miles to caulk a single window."
"Thank you customer for the favorable review. In three short sentences you summed up a lot about how I try to treat all of my clients. Your job was only $100. But I know by treating you as if you were a $10,000 client, you might call me again and the next project could be a big one. I strive to please all of my clients no matter the size of the job. Thank you."
"Thank you customer for the kind review. I pride myself on punctuality and a quick response. You as well were accommodating as far as scheduling goes. I appreciate a customer who understands the need to start a job early."
"Thank you customer for pointing out some of my “strong points”. I am good at window repairs. I have amassed a knowledge base I’d put up against most window contractors. As customer said, most window contractors just want to up-sell an owner on all new windows. I like jobs like that as well. But many times repairs are more than adequate. I don’t mind the small jobs. Many times if I please you on the small job, you may actually call me someday for the big job! Thanks again for the detailed review."
"Thank you customer for noting in your review that you were very patient with me on scheduling. You caught me at a very busy time and yet you were perfectly fine waiting a bit until I could work you in. Many times I am expected to rush right out and do the work because of the owner procrastinating and waiting until things got really bad before calling me. Your wasted time should not create a rush situation for me. My work and good customer service are worth the wait."
"Customer, I know you compared me to other contractors because you told me so. I had a discussion with you prior to coming out and in the exchange, I was pretty much assured that you would choose me in the end. This in large part was due to the nature of the job not to mention the fact that you said you weren’t really happy with some of the other contractors you had spoken with. Even though it was only one window being replaced, I treated you exactly the same as if I were replacing every window in the home. I’m glad you are pleased with the job and I appreciate the positive review."
"Thanks for the review. I'm glad you were pleased with me and my work. Once I found the source of the leaking, the rest was really the easy part. Leaks can be frustrating at times. It's always best when I can find a definitive answer to the question from where the leak comes."
"Thank you very much for the positive review. I aim to please all of my customers and apparently I pleased you. I find that coming in after the bigger Window companies most often works to my advantage. I price my work to be competitive. I am not the least expensive contractor you can find. At the same time, I'm not the most expensive either. Other attributes than a good price must also be considered. Good customer service is one of those I concentrate on. Thanks again for the kind review."
"Though your job was not a large one, it was still important to me. I take pride in all my work from the smallest of trim jobs to an entire house getting whole windows replaced. I actually prefer the smaller jobs. Many other contractors are just the opposite not wanting to be bothered with the small stuff. I have heard from many of my clients that they found it very difficult locating a contractor for the small jobs. This is where I've found my niche. Thank you for the positive review."
"Though our relationship was short, I feel like I'm on your "callback" list. I do find that a fair percentage of my clients become repeats and need me again sometime down the road. Thanks for the business and review."
"Though I don't advertise of my weekend availability, I do sometimes make exceptions. Especially when customer's windows are broken by storms or wind and they're having to cover their window with something to keep the cold out! I'm glad I was able to help."
"Thank you. I'm glad I was able to help with your window needs."
"Another pleased repeat client. I am glad I am able to continue to help with your repair needs. We'll end up replacing all the old glass by the time this is over!"
"Thank you for recognizing my "doing what I say I will" attribute. I don't like it when I deal with someone who does not follow through on what they said. When it is in my control, I try to stick to everything I have promised. Thanks for thew review."
"Once again, a customer who had been offered new windows because she was told these couldn't be fixed. Repair is more than adequate many times when other contractors just want to replace. Do what is right for the client, not what pads the contractor's pockets most."
"I will install glass you purchased. I don't mind providing labor only. Although I don't always trust other people's measuring acumen, this job went fine because the manufacturer provided the new glass. Thanks for the review."
"Customer, Thank you for the good grades. I must say I am a little surprised I was graded a “C” on price. Details of this job: I drove 51 miles one way (102 round trip). I had the parts necessary for the repair (although I didn’t charge for them). The work was completed in one visit. I wrote an invoice of $135 for the work. Customer requested a discount (which I granted) and I reduced the price down to $125. Considering the fuel used, drive time, cost of materials, and discount granted, I didn’t profit very much on this job. I am sorry you don’t see the value in the price you paid for the service I rendered. I am glad you were pleased overall with the work I gave you."
"Due to the nature of the issues with these windows, the repair job was super messy. I like to leave things cleaner than I found them. I’m glad you were pleased."
"You make it sound like I know what I’m doing! Once again, repair vs replace. It is not what makes me the most money but it is what takes care of the issue. I’m glad you were pleased with the repairs."
"Thank you customer for noting my prompt responsiveness. Also for grading me high on my price. I tell customers I’m not necessarily the lowest quote but I offer great customer service and I show up on time. That seems to go a long way with most people. Thank you."
"I like it when my customers come back around and use me again. Thank you customer and we’ll talk soon for the next job!"
"When I complete a job, I like to say I leave the area cleaner than when I started. This seems to go far with my clients. Thanks for the positive review."
