It ran perfect. I knew estimated cost and hourly. I knew the storage units were packed tight. They were prompt, curious, professional and so respectful. I am going to need again and most definitely calling them. They came early in the morning and worked straight through till late in the evening, they stayed till the job was done and done correctly.

My in home moving went great! They young men did anything I ask and I was pleased with their service. My only complaint is that they came to my home in a private and unmarked vehicle with no identification. A hat or badge are relatively inexpensive and should be supplied to your employees, even if they are subs.

They wrapped each piece of furniture & handled them with great care. Even if it wasn't a nice expensive piece of furniture they treated it as if it was. Put down non-skid mats since it was a very rainy day. Very reasonably priced. They were late but it was raining very hard so I'm sure it was out of their control. Great people & great service. I would use them again & I highly recommend them! :)

Between my wife and myself, and a professional office move, we had used Byers on 3-4 previous occasions and ALWAYS with great results. So when we executed a contract to buy a new home, and another to sell our existing home we didn't even think to call anyone else.
They visited and gave us an estimate of about $1500. They saw our home, packed boxes, and all of the furniture we'd have to move. We knew it would take an 18 wheeler and not just a moving van. That being said, they showed up, with 2-4 hrs sleep after returning from another move in another state and said the 18 wheeler truck they had was tied up on another job. We knew we were in trouble then. We bought $75 worth of drinks (Gatorade/water), put them on ice, and fed them lunch. They worked hard and ended up unloading the last of the FIRST load at 10pm that night. They had to come back the next day and, this time, brought a loud, obnoxious smoker who did little work but lots of gabbing. Out time to be out of the house was coming up and they loaded up the truck, AGAIN, and finished unloading it, again, around 9pm that night. The problem was there was still a large U-Haul load left that we had to move the THIRD day of the move.
They came in underequipped, $1000 over estimate, and provided a really sour experience for us.
Now, that being said, had they not been returning from an almost sleepless night, maybe attitudes and work ethic would have been stronger. Who knows? All we know is we won't call them again.

The estimate they gave over the phone, because everything was already boxed and furniture wrapped for long-term storage, was reasonable and they sent a large enough crew to handle moving heavy furniture to the second story of the house. There was no damage (partly because the Miami moving company we used did a superb job of wrapping and sealing everything in cardboard) and they were careful and friendly in the process.

The company's workers showed up on time, with a large enough work crew to get this job done faster than we'd expected. We moved into the lower level of our house in April of this year, unpacking only as much as we could get by with until the renovations were completed on the upper level. All of our furniture and other belongings had to be moved upstairs, either through the yard or up the stairs.
These men worked like champions, and took reasonable care of my belongings to make our transition from temporary in the basement to real living in our new house upstairs. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and instructions as to where things were to be placed.

Sam Byers and Sons Moving were fantastic, we were pleased with everything that they did. They were very efficient from the time I called them. The person who was at the office was extremely well-organized, asked all the right questions, I told her what we needed and she asked all the right questions because this was from a second story apartment to a 2-storey house, they even added a member to the crew. We were extremely pleased. I highly recommend them, I am a 30 year realtor and I know from experience that it is difficult to find a moving company that you can highly recommend because if you make a mistake, it reflects directly upon you.

They were very punctual. I would use them again.

THEY WERE 1.5 HOURS LATE, BUT ONCE THEY ARRIVED EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY. MRS. BYERS CAME IN ADVANCE TO PACK MY KITCHEN. THE MEN DID A VERY CAREFUL JOB OF WRAPPING AND MOVING MY THINGS. HAVEN'T NOTICED ANTHING DAMAGED YET. GOT THE DAY I WANTED TOO.
