It was fine. They did a first rate job from start to finish. The quality was good. They returned our calls. The price was reasonable. They showed up to do the quotes. They were very responsive every time we had a question or needed to reach them. They did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. They used top quality materials. They worked with people well. They were professional. The quality of the finished job was good. We did have some issues, and had to have them come back. They took care of all the issues for us. I would recommend them to anybody. 
We also had a staircase railing that was broken, and they completely replaced all of that. They absolutely did a first rate job with that. I have been looking for a long time to find a vendor with the skill level that could do staircase railings. They did all of that at a reasonable price. It was first rate quality. 

Was satisfied with the people I dealt with and with the price. Products seem to be of good quality. Much better price than I received from another local company.

John was very professional and accomodating. I had a situation where I had to get the carpet changed quickly and he took care of me within about a week. The price was fair. He came out with samples and measured for the area. I would recommend John to others for his services. He was easy to work with.

Soon after we built our home, the hardware floors began to buckle on the second and third levels and shortly after that we noticed the shower tile was leaking in the roll in handicapped shower. One month after the house was finished, we started running two dehumidifiers to reduce the moisture in the basement. When our builder informed Lake Norman Flooring the handicapped roll in shower tile was leaking, John of Lake Norman Flooring came out and tried to blame the plumber for the leak. When confronted by the builder, Lake Norman Floor tried to do a quick fix with silicone caulk on the outside of tile which looked horrible. Three or four months after the caulk job, the caulk is leaking and has black mold under the caulk. The shower still leaks in more than one spot. We are presently looking for a new tile and hardwood person to repair the problem,

We shoped at several flooring stores and had just about
closed the deal with one shop. But a promised phone call to clear up the final
details never came. After waiting two weeks I decided to try Lake Norman Floors
in Troutman. This is a family operation, owned by John Duzan and the show room
run by daughter Tracy. They were great. Tracy was very knowledgeable about the
products and help us pick out a flooring that was in our view just perfect.
John came out and measured the job and check all the
specific problems that we had that could effect the outcome. The bottom line is
promises were made and promises were kept and we have a beautiful floor we are
quite proud of.
The drop in wooden vents that the other place said couldn’t
be done, John did with ease and they look beautiful. John visited very often to
see that everything was going good. He has a top-notch crew that removed all
the particleboard, laid down new plywood and 1050 sq. ft. of hardwood in two
days and it looks great.
John even hauled off some extra trash of ours that was not
part of the job.

I thought they were great. I was out of town so I just turned my house over to them. When I got back, my house was done. It was very good.

Can't say enough good things about this company and John's professionalism. It was a hard job, as we had light maple flooring that we wanted to stain darker. Maple does not take stain evenly, and they need to and quot;water popand quot; the floors prior to staining, a process that not everyone is qualified to do.
While it was somewhat touch and go for a bit (until the final coat), he was here daily checking on each coat to ensure the stain was taking correctly. The floors came out beautifully, and he was truly involved in the whole process from start to finish.
We had quotes from 2 other floor companies, and all were pretty comparable. John was the only one who seemed confident he could stain the maple, and even referred me to a spa where he had done a similar treatment.
We've had dozens of contractors working on this home since we moved in -- a few good, a lot of shady ones. Lake Norman Floors was by far the best, and we have nothing but good things to say about the job and professionalism.

We had a good time with John and it was excellent. It was about 600 sq ft of hardwood floor. They were very responsive when I called John. They came out and gave me a quote. They looked at the job and they helped us to decide what we wanted. They gave us a timely proposal. They followed up with a good selection of samples and so we could go and look. We got a lot of assistance from them to make our final decision. They listen to what we were asking for and we were telling them that this our second home condo and we want good stuff but not top of the line. So they came up with some really excellent laminate flooring which is alternate for hardwood. They were also more than helpful on timing because we live in New Jersey and we were there just for three weeks and we had to get it done in that time. We gave him the order and he fell over backwards to get the materials and he even had a special delivery of the laminates from South Carolina at no extra cost. Their quality of installation was excellent. John would come daily and give us follow up's while the construction was going on. He would come over and talk to us and make sure everything was going well.

John and his crew did a great job with both projects. The bonus/bedroom job used prefinished hardwood due to the need to avoid sanding dust. The end result was very close to the look of a conventional installation. They did a fine job also at the interface with an adjoining carpeted area. The recroom installation was very professionally done also, and here again, interface with adjoining wood floor was nicely done. John is a very personable guy and was a pleasure to work with. We plan to use them again next year when we replace carpet with hardwood floor in several rooms.

I was more pleased than I had expected to be. No problems or glitches at all. Sent truck back to warehouse to be absolutely sure that the correct product was delivered on the day promised to let it acclimate to house temperature over the weekend. Installed on Monday. Joseph, lead installer, is spectacular....efficient, extremely competent. Removed shoe mold and old flooring. Hauled off all debris and old flooring and re-installed shoe mold after hardwood. In addition to hardwood install, installed threshhold into laundry area and in doorways between kitchen and dining and living areas. Moved appliances without doing any damage and put them back into place at the end without any issues. The final result is beautiful. John Duzan (owner) was a dream to work with. Gave me a detailed fair quote and explanation of procedure, easy to reach by phone, answered all my continuing questions completely and was on site at beginning, middle and end of the job to make sure all was done correctly. I have no problems and no complaints. Plan to deal with John again for other flooring needs in my house in the near future.

We spent $2600 for the carpets and they saved me some money because they used some of the old pad. They did a good job and their clean up was good, and they did not have to move furniture because it was already vacant in that area where they installed the carpet. There was some misunderstanding with the discussions I had with the sales lady. When I got the quote what was included and what was the cost she underestimate the cost of installation and that was my only complaint. The installation was done well and they knew what they were doing. I thought that it was going to be a one day job, but it went over into the second day because the one guy had some personal things to attend to which he did not tell me until half an before he needed to leak. They did a decent job and in the end it was a quality job.

We could not be more thrilled with the professionalism and craftsmanship of Lake Norman Floors. All of the individuals that we worked with from John (the owner) to Shannon (sales) to Charles (project manager) were all very personable, professional, knowledgable and accommodating. All the workers in our home were courteous, responsible and respectful of our belongings. With the exception of some dust (which is to be expected when putting down hardwoods), everything was neat and tidy upon completion of the job. We also did our due diligence before choosing Lake Norman Floors and feel that their prices are very competitive. We would definitely recommend Lake Norman Floors to our friends and family, and in fact, we plan to use them again in the near future for another tile job.

They are awesome! I would not have anyone else. We interviewed five contractors, Shannon was the only one that seemed like he knew what he was doing, and that could get the special windows. We had them do flooring for us too, it turned out excellent as well.

John, the sales rep, was very professional and pleasant. He told us it would take five days to do the job and it did. The installers, Gary and Dave, were very professional in their work. They were organized in their approach to the job and moved furniture with ease. The old carpeting on the front stairs was very difficult to remove because of too many staples. We were concerned the installation wouldn't be done on time but Gary and Dave finished as planned.

THE REPRESENTATIVE CAME RIGHT TO OUR HOME WHICH IS IN HIGHLAND CREEK, QUITE A DISTANCE FROM THE ACTUAL CARPET SHOP. HE CAME SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL WE DECIDED ON THE CARPET AND PAD THAT WAS RIGHT FOR US. THEY EVEN NEGOTIATED ON THE PRICE, AND INCLUDED FURNITURE MOVING IN THE DEAL.
