Awesome. I love K9 Cabins. I couldn't be more grateful to have been referred here. I do not have a single worry about my dog when she is boarding at the cabins. The crew loves my dog just about as much as I do. They also offer dog grooming, which is the best anywhere in the Lake Norman area.

It went fantastic. We had a problem in our departure date for vacation and K-9 worked with us. I really was shocked when we came back to get our dogs. They had bonded with the K-9 staff. I love this kennel.

Fantastic! I was told of this place by the place where I buy dog food. They warned they were pricy but that everyone had glowing reports of them.So, I made an appointment for a tour.Wow! What a place. It truly is made of log and has individual cabins for each dog. Each dog has it's own room, complete with a ceiling fan, AC, music, doggy door, but best is the window at eye level for the dogs to look out.Ok, so all of that doesn't mean they are going to take care of my animal.My dog is extreme when it comes to thunderstorms. She's on medicine during a storm to help alleviate the intense anxiety.I had tried another kennel last year and when I returned and asked about the severe thunderstorm they had in my town, the response was, "She was fine."Well, I knew then that the other place had not even checked on her or they'd have known she wasn't fine. She hurts herself during storms.It was very important to me that this K9 Cabins not behave in the way the 'other' place had.Well, not only were my fears for not, but they went above and beyond. They even kept me updated via email. In addition, they sent me pictures of her while I was gone.When I went to pick her up, she did the obvious 'excited' loves and kisses, and then immediately took off to go scout the yards. It assured me that all had been well as if it hadn't, she would have never left my side.A friend of mine also assured me,, telling me that when he takes his dog back, the dog gets so excited as they approach the building. As I was leaving, the same thing happened to me. I thought I left my cell phone there and when I turned around to go back, my dog got so excited, whining and running around the van. When I realized I had the phone on the floor, I once again turned around to go home and she jumped up to the back window and kept looking out. That quick, she wanted to go back. What more could you want?I put an A for pricing, even though they really are expensive. I put the A because of the value of the money. Yes, it's a little pricy but the alternative is to save $8 per day with someone else and then worry about their care. And that doesn't even take into consideration the amenities and the wonderful schedule they keep with the dogs.Usually my son keeps her when I leave town but it wasn't an option this time. In the future, I will pay the money and leave her here, simply because my son works through the day and I'd rather know she's at K9 Cabins with someone attending her rather than stuck in a condo all day, especially during a storm.

It was great! It was a very nice facility. The dogs have their own little rooms that have heating and air conditioning, and everything is so clean. The rooms also have a little doggie door to their own patio. The staff is friendly, and you can tell they love the animals. They also offer bathing and photography for your pet. I was very pleased with the service they provided.

We have used kennels frequently over the years for this pet, and K9 Cabins is by for the best we have ever encountered. The owner is directly involved in the care and socialization of the pets. She has an obvious love for animals and treats them as if they are her own. The facility is always very clean, and attention is given to maintain the pet's belongings while in residence. Our dog is always happy to see us upon return but gets excited when returning to the kennel. The owner also provides custom pet photography and does a fantastic job at capturing the true personality of our dog.

IT'S A 30 MINUTE DRIVE FROM MY HOME, BUT WORTH EVERY MINUTE TO HAVE THE PEACE OF MIND KNOWING YOUR PET IS BEING WELL CARED FOR, COMFORTABLE, AND HAPPY. I COULDN'T VACATION WITHOUT IT! WE RECENTLY BOARDED OUR PETS OVER THE NEW YEAR'S HOLIDAY AND I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT THE LEVEL OF SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO THE CARE AND WELL BEING ON MY PETS REMAINS EXTREMELY HIGH. MY DOGS ACTUALLY GOT EXCITED TO BE RETURNING TO K9 CABINS AND RAN INSIDE TO GREET THE OWNER. ONE OF MY DOGS REQUIRED THAT EYE DROPS BE ADMINISTERED TWICE DAILY AND THEY WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO CONTINUE THE TREATMENT. THE FACILITY IS VERY NICE, THE DOGS HAVE ACTUAL ROOMS NOT CRATES, AND PLAYTIME IS NOT AN EXTRA SERVICE THAT YOU PAY FOR. THE OWNER ACTUALLY CONSIDERS THIS TO BE A PLEASANT PART OF THE JOB AND SOMETHING SHE LOOKS FORWARD TO. I LIKE THIS PLACE AND MY PETS AGREE! ONE LOOK AT HER WEBSITE WILL TELL YOU THIS LADY IS TRULY INTERESTED IN PROVIDING THE BEST CARE FOR YOUR PETS.
