Worst concrete guy and job I have ever dealt with.
First pour - stamps were not even in straight lines with each other - Stepped in stamped area while wet near door- so had to be replaced(concrete) First he tried to convince us to try to accept it. What a loser!! Paid extra to lay wire in concrete near existing porch was to keep new from cracking and guess what it did ? Crack!!! - Jimmy, you need a new line of work!!
2nd pour - we ended up with three different colors of concrete due to three individual pours. Jimmy blamed the concrete then sunlight then finally repoured this again. Promised on first go round he would use re-bar so, porch would not drop ever again and right now it had dropped about 1 1/2 inches and has a shallow pond on our porch after each rain we could either stock with fish or use a squeegee to push all the water off.Good luck ever getting JImmy Hickman to complete a job worth anything you paid. Phone calls will not be returned. he did two other jobs in our neighborhood based off our in the begining and botched those as well.

"I would like to start off by saying that I am very sorry that the member was not pleased with my work. I explained to him that the difference in color was due to one area was in the shade and one was in the sun causing a slight discoloration, but after time they would even out, but may never be the exact same due to sun fading. I agree with Mr. Z that beginning lines were off due to first pour of cement was in shade and went out toward the sunlight. I had to start at the front and work my way out and lines did get straightened but was only about an inch out of line. Re-bar was drilled into existing foundation of the house and wire was used. When Mr. Z pointed out a problem I tried my best to rectify the problem. His job was stamped and with stamps there will be dimples and indentations due to pattern of stamp. In conclusion I want to again say that I am sorry that he was not pleased with the work my company provided for him but being that this is the way I provide a living for my family nothing was done intentionally and as I tell all my customers I can guarantee that I will do my best to give the best job that I can give. I have NEVER told anyone that cement would not crack regardless of what you use or do to prevent it."

On Saturday I called three different contractors and left messages. One called back two days later, one has never called back and Jimmy called back in thirty minutes. He came out the same day to see what the job entailed and the price was very reasonable. He started work on that Monday and everything was completed by Thursday. The workers always arrived on time and didn’t mind the dogs helping out. I would highly recommend Concrete Solutions!

The job went smoothly. The people were very nice and they knew what they were doing. They didn’t bother anyone else and they didn’t make a mess. They were professional and had high quality. As of today the Nineth month 10th day of 2012 this project is still in need of repair as they have failed me totally !!!!!!
