We had chosen sofas but I would not let them bring them into the house because the front wood trim on it had a large gap. The legs were unevenly finished. The leather on the arms was all shriveled up like old leather and the fabric on the recliner looked like somebody had made huge scratches on it with nails. We had accepted two chairs from the store and we now find that there is something wrong with them. The fabric on them has stretched and is sagging. The furniture store tells us that they don't do refunds while the manufacturer says that it is not their problem since we bought the furniture from an independent store. They won't even send me the paperwork about what they are withholding and they tell me that our contract is with an independently-operated dealer and that they cannot legally authorize the return of the furniture or the refund. We made a bad decision are now left holding bad furniture and we don’t how to return or get a refund.
