I wanted to get my oil changed on a Saturday and Andy Shaw Ford was the only place open locally.
I called them as soon as they opened and no one answered so I left a message.
2 Hours later I did not hear from them so I called and this time they answered. I asked if I could bring in my car to have the oil changed and they said that they could take me.
The oil change took approximately 1 hour and the cost was average for a foreign car.
3 weeks later, my Check Engine light came on and I had a mechanic (not associated with Andy Shaw Ford) take a look at what the trouble was. He said there was a problem with the valve and asked me when the last time I had my oil changed.
I told him about 3 weeks ago. He had to drain he oil to fix the problem and when he did, he called me and said that the oil was black and dirty and looked that it had not been changed recently.
I went back to Andy Shaw Ford and told the receptionist what the mechanic had said and gave them the number of the mechanic so that they could talk and figure out what happened. She said that she would talk to the Service Manager.
So far they have not tried to contact the mechanic. (it has been 4 days so far)
