Description of Work: When I could not get the Geek Squad from Best Buy to come out (even though we had purchased their service plan), I call the Geek and Grammar Queen. They came out immediately to fix the computer networking problems we were having at out church. It was done very quickly and when we called back a few weeks later for another computer issue, they fixed it remotely on the spot. This company is wonderful and they have become our go-to company for everything computer related.

 + -1 moreMy computer locked up and after making many phone calls, I took it to the guys at The Geek and Grammar Queen. I was given a fair estimate and was told I'd get a call later this afternoon. They called to let me know that my computer must have reset itself, because there was nothing wrong with it! I don't think this kind of service happens every day anymore. They could have "fixed" it for me and charged me the amount of my estimate. But they didn't. They didn't charge me a penny. I would highly recommend them for their knowledge, promptness and interest in helping me. But my main reason for recommending them is their integrity and honesty! In the future, I will only take my computers to The Geek and Grammar Queen. (located next to the Swansboro Post Office)
Description of Work: Installed windows updates, restarted computer and kept getting messages that my password was invalid. I couldn't get into my computer at all. I was told my multiple companies that I needed a password recovery disc.

Description of Work: Computer had a black screen. I had a computer repair store in Delmar, Delaware (The Laptop Shop) Diagnose the problem. They found that the computer needed a new inverter. They had the computer for 4 days. I called them everyday and they informed me they could not find the part. I picked it up from the store, because I had to travel to North Carolina and I would try to get it repaired there. I was charged $35.00 for the Diagnostic. When I arrived in NC. I found the Geek store in the phone book for Swansboro, NC. I delivered the computer to their store at 10:00AM on Tuesday and they called me at 1:00PM the same day to tell me the Computer was ready for pick-up. The Laptop is working great, and the price was very fair. I highly recommend this shop over and over.
