l contacted Holt Roofing on Wednesday the 11th of January to replace an attic fan that hasn't been working. Mr Ed Holt said he would take care of the fan on Thursday. It did rain that Thursday so I figured they would come out on Friday. Nope, they showed up on Monday and did do the job, and I believe they did a good job looking at it from the ground. This Fan is supposed to come on when the attic gets about 120 degrees but its been running since its been installed, day and night. I called Mr Holt and told him that the fan was running constantly even though the out side temp didn't get above 50. He agreed and said that the fan is defected and that it wasn't his fault, he stated that he purchased it from Lowes and that its their responsibility. He said he'll have to charge me to send his crew to the house for a second time. I tried to reason with him, stating that its his responsibility, but he disagreed, He said it would be cheaper for him to not even bill me at all for the job. Thats how we left off. Sooo, I guess I'll have to call another roofer and pay them to fix the fan . Not a good way to run a business if you ask me!!
