Subarus R Us are friendly and willing to help in all ways. You don't have to always bring your car in, if they can answer your questions on phone, then they are willing to do that. They are reasonably priced, if you went to a dealer, they would tell you of all the things that you need to do but here, they are more understanding of your financial condition and so they do what they really have to do and don't pressure you into additional services. They are close to us so they are convenient.

This model Subaru is known to have a problem where it can begin to leak coolant slowly over time. unfortunately, if you aren't accustomed to looking at the temperature gauge (as my daughter was not at that time) it's possible to miss the fact that the car is overheating until it is too late. Long story short, the engine overheated and threw a rod. The folks at Subaru's R Us were willing to put in a short block (basically the engine core itself - using the existing stuff from your engine such as electronic ignition, hoses, cables, belts, AC, alternator, etc.). Because they had one on-hand that they had rebuilt themselves, it saved us a LOT of money. Do a little search for Subaru engines and you'll see that you can't get a USED engine for the $ 1,300 we paid, much less a freshly rebuilt one. We simply couldn't have replaced the engine otherwise. They were very helpful and gracious throughout the process. Subaru's R Us hasn't always been the cheapest option (nor the most expensive) but they seem to be honest, and focused on doing a good job for you so that you'll come back, which of course we will!

I found that their service is excellent. Their prices are good and they're very knowledgeable about the automobiles. I would certainly highly recommend them to anybody. They did a great job.
