We provided Jesse and Aaron with our own sketches and pictures from the internet, a list of what we wanted in the renovation, and had a discussion with them about our expectations. They came back to us with a reasonable quote that detailed the cost for their service as general contractor, and the labor and materials for each aspect of the entire project. There were a couple of things we weren't sure we wanted (like the windows, which we decided to put in and are glad we did), and they included the cost of these as optional in the quote. They gave us a reasonable time line which they ended up beating.
The quality of work was excellent. Jesse and Aaron carefully oversaw the sub-contractors and made sure that all work was top notch. Workers were on-task and relatively quiet. The work site was cleaned up everyday. If I had any questions or concerns I could call Jesse and if he did not answer right away he would usually call me back within 5 or 10 minutes.
They were not the cheapest offer we received, but we thought what they did was well worth the cost and we had no headaches. Bottom line is we were very satisfied with the work, so much so that we have hired them again to build a carport for us. We recommend Jesse and Aaron and Meinch Construction without reservation. They are honest and competent contractors and we were very satisfied with their work.

It went wonderfully. They worked well, clean, patient and at all times professional. The mess from gutting two rooms was minimal. Each day we would get home from work to see regular work being done, and the space would be cleaned up as much as possible. No garbage left unnecessarily. Neighbors even commented that they would see them in an out, they would wave and smile and keep moving.
