We had a new system put in the end of 2020. Gentry has always been prompt, knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. During this last storm our heater went out. I called on Sunday afternoon and I actually spoke to a person, who was very nice, and said someone would call me. Within minutes someone actually did and tried to help over phone. I had already tried what was suggested but he assured me we would see a service man the next day (Monday). Someone did call Monday morning and we did have a serviceman come out promptly. Albert was prompt, professional and immediately got to work. Our unit is underground and is difficult to get to but he went down there and worked until he got it working. It was a frozen line which he fixed and rerouted. He suggested a few things for another snow or freeze and left. The heater has been working since then. We would highly recommend Gentry Service in Swannanoa for new heating system or for service. We have been very satisfied from the beginning.

This is the not I just sent them. I think it answers the question best: "Wanted to say THANK YOU to Cody and Gentry Heating staff. So glad I went ahead and called you! Instead of cold and worrisome my house now feels warm and comfy, the way I like it! I was so happy when I was told someone could come the same day. Cody was thorough, polite and most important, he identified the problems. Then you actually had the part in stock! He got it, returned the same day and fixed my heat pump!" As for details, a heat strip was burned out. This effected the entire electrical flow including the relays between iindoor and outdor units. It was quit a bit of work, a good part of it outdoors on a cold day. Cody was very good about answering my questions. I like to understand what is going on. I put a B for price mainly because I hate to spend it. I have no idea if it is good or not but it got the job done.

It's January and my furnace stopped working. While Gentry could not get to me the same day I called (no one I called could), Gentry came the next day. Cody was on time, professional, took the time to explain and show me what was wrong and answer my questions. The motor needed replacement and, while it was too late in the day to get one, as soon as the local distributor of the motor was open, I received a call from Gentry with the quote (quite reasonable) and Cody arrived an hour later. Excellent service and responsiveness!

HVAC unit was frosting over. Technician determined the original installer in 2013 had placed too much freon/refrigerant in system originally. Technician arrived on time, knew what he was doing, replaced refrigerant and it's been working better than when we bought the house it came with.

My existing HVAC system went out on me during the super cold spell in early January. From my initial contact, to meeting Bill Sears (who was willing to come out in the snow), to the quickness with which they got me on the schedule for the install to the professionalism of the installers, I truly had an excellent experience. Their pricing was also quite competitive with the other quotes I received. I highly recommend Gentry Heating. I will use them for any future needs.

Very well. Only a couple of relatively minor issues found with the units themselves but existing permanent furnace filters were unbelievably filthy! I trust the techs at Gentry to only do what is necessary. I wish the Service contract was a little less expensive, but as long as they continue to do great work...

It went very well. The technicians showed up on time and seemed to do quality work. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves. They did not have the covers to go on the exterior vents but had another technician return to do this a day or so later.

Kenny M. arrived on time, listened carefully to my concerns, checked out the whole system, took out the fan and cleaned it completely (found, to my embarrassment, a fried mouse and about a pound of dirt on the fan), cleaned it all up completely, put it back together and my (22+ year old) system is working better than ever. Accepted my Angie's list coupon, made sure every speck of dust was cleaned up. I am more than pleased. I would call them back in a heartbeat!
