Overall, I couldn't have been more pleased with their performance, approach, and value.  They would get an A+.
After finding Carolina Craftsman on Angie's List with an "A" rating, I contacted them to come out to do a walk-through and ultimately selected them over 2 other contractors providing estimates.  One typically gets a "gut feeling" about a contractor when first engaging with them.  With Carolina Craftsman, the feeling was positive and it sustained throughout the whole job.  Robert and his crew did an outstanding job in every keys area that matters to me:
- Punctuality - they were always on time and very predictable on schedule
- Attention to details - each of Robert's crew genuinely handled each job demonstrating they cared about the final output.  This was one of the most surprising things.  I had expected a contractor to be more interested in "checking the work off the list"--but this wasn't the case. They took pride in their work--even if it meant taking extra time to get it right the first time.
-Communication - Robert and his team did very good at communicating their schedule, their plans, and asked any questions that could have impacted design.  This was highly appreciated and showed the attention to detail.
- Value- price was very good for the broad range of services performed.  Considering the price with the quality provided left me very happy with selecting Carolina Craftsman.   
- Versatility - Robert's team had the expertise in various areas that preventing me from calling separate electricans, woodworkers, tile workers or plumbers that would have likely been more expensive and a far greater hassle for me.
- Qualtiy - work quality was high and supervision from Robert of his team was consistent and trustworthy.
- Client-focused - his whole team was respectful and took care to be courteous at all turns and even related well to other family members I had at the house during the repairs.  On a couple of occasions, Robert did everything to change the team schedule to accomodate a change I requested.  
I've worked with more than 10-15 contractors over the past 10 yrs and this was the most positive experience of any that I've had.  It's hard coming up with improvement areas.  I don't believe the various work was highly complex in nature (i.e structural design/build)--but I would certainly trust them to take on larger, complex jobs.

We are very pleased with his service.
