KRS PAINTING

I called this contractor for a painting estimate (also known as Church Renovation Builders) and he could start immediately. Initially asked for a very high deposit of $1300 but settled for $300. References were few, mostly older homeowners and commercial clients. He washed my house late one evening with only a backpack sprayer filled with bleach (no pressure washing). He rarely showed up before 11am or consistently, sometimes painting late in the dark. Helper was rarely supervised, and worked slowly and sloppily. Mr. Smith demanded immediate payment once he felt the job was finished, despite numerous discrepancies and problems. Reacted very poorly to issues even though he acknowledged them and discovered even more. He agreed to resolve discrepancies and apply a second coat of paint only for an additional cost. He resolved some issues and applied the additional coat of paint, again demanding full and immediate payment, leaving numerous insulting and harassing phone calls.
