This is the second time I've used Carolina Stump. The first time, I called 4 tree firms for an estimate removing a fallen tree branch. I was sure the tree was a goner. But, they said no problem. The cut back the tree, and I was sure it was a goner. The noticed that the trees in our back yard were over grown and needed pruning, because they were blocking the light to the back and making our small backyard very dark. We said do it, and what a difference the pruning made. We had a bright backyard. My wife had a tree she absolutely hated. She told them she wanted it gone, and it was gone.
When we need some work done on a dead bush, an overgrown hedge, and a stump. I didn't bother to call anyone else. We knew their work was good and their prices reasonable. When I gave them the go ahead, the were here the next day. They made quick work of the job. and left the site clean. We've seen other companies in the neighborhood who left the site to the customer to clean up the mess, or just put it on the curb for the city to pick up. Companies are supposed to haul of the stuff themselves.
These guys are real pros at a reasonable price, and check to see if you have any other problems that need attention. They are not give you a hard sell. They tell you what it will cost and let you decide what you want to do. They've even taken care of some little things for free. I rate them 12 stars out of 10.

We had some large dead limbs removed from a Locus tree in our back yard. Their fee was reasonable and they did an excellent job (including complete clean-up)  We were very pleased with this professional tree service.

They had four employees come out to take care of this in about two-and-a-half days. They were really quite professional. They were constantly busy, working the whole time. They had a ready and easy answer to any question I asked.

I called Carolina Tree and Stump Service late on Friday, and they were very quick to come over and provide a free estimate. I accepted their offer to do the job, and they were out here Saturday morning with a capable crew, and excellent equipment to do the job.
They started working right away, no dilly-dallying. The workers were polite and friendly, and everything went along very smoothly. The building is now free of the fallen tree, and they did a very nice job attaching a tarp to the roof so the contents are protected from damage from rain until roof repairs are completed.
Their cleanup of the worksite was excellent. I was very pleased with their work. I would use them again.

I was satisfied with the job they did. They were quick to come out and give an estimate.

It was not a good experience with Carolina Stump and Tree. When they began, it took them a long time to come back to even finish the job. Then when we found more stumps under the driveway, they haven't came back to remove them. They will not contact us. The job they did do was good but they just won't return our calls.

THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL BECAUSE THE TREES WERE ON THE PATIO. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE PATIO. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. WHEN THEY LEFT YOU COULDN'T TELL THERE HAD BEEN ANY TREES IN THE YARD. THERE WAS NOT A LEAF OR TWIG TO BE FOUND.

Working with Carolina Stump Removal was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone having this kind of work done. They were fast, cheap, and it turned out exactly as I wanted it. Plus, the estimate they gave me was almost exactly what I paid.
