Beware!!! I used this company for air conditioning service and repair for YEARS! I thought they were great and trusted them completely. But then this summer my ac unit stopped working and I realized this was the third summer in a row it had messed up at about the same time so when I called this time for service I mentioned that and asked if maybe there was some type of warranty and the part that was replaced last year if it turned out to be the same problem. At that point I was asked to hold for the service manager Eric. Eric came on the line and was unbelievably rude!!! I was a loyal customer!!! He first tried to lie to me about what was wrong with my unit in the past, and then just tried to put me off by saying it would be weeks before they could come look at the unit!!! In August! And again, after years of loyalty!! I said I couldn’t wait that long as I have a special needs child and my elderly mother in my home and such exposure to heat would be unsafe for them. His actual response “oh well, happens to thousands of people every day”. Of course I immediately decided this company would never ever get a dime of my money. BUT!! It gets worse. I got 2 other companies to come give me quotes on the unit within 24 hours and both told me the same thing. The part they had replaced the past 2 years still looked brand new because that was not the problem but merely a symptom of a different issue. In short, they were putting a band aid on the real issue. Possibly because of the time of year and maybe they were very busy and just did the bare minimum to get it running and still make themselves lots of money while ensuring future service calls. I don’t know why they decided to be so unworthy of their customers trust but they did. I did reach out to the owner of the company to let them know how their service manager Eric spoke to me, as I did not think they would want their company represented like that. I did not want to continue business with them but I would definitely want to know if my employees were treating customers like that but I never heard back from them which was hugely disappointing. Bottom line. Be very wary if you’re a current customer. Get any and everything they tell you in writing. Keep good records and do not let them rip you off too!! If you’re not already a customer, and actually even if you are…keep looking. There are much better companies out there to work for you!!!

They give professional service . They come if they say there coming. Did a good job., a lot experience and certified electrician.

A/C went out Friday around 6pm. Called K&M on Sat. at 8:08am and left message. Tech ret'd. my call around 9:00am and arrived around 3:15pm. He apologized for the wait, but explained there were a lot of a/c problems and none easy repairs. Fortunately, ours was a bad capacitor and the repair was quick! Excellent service by K&M, and the tech was very knowledgeable.

David came out to my home and it took him a bit of time to figure out the problem as he had to check several outlets to find which one was causing the issue. He was knowledgeable and explained everything to me. His fee was reasonable.

I've used them several times over the years. They've replaced two different AC units for me. They've installed a generator. They perform maintenance work on the AC units as well. Things always go well when they're here. They come when they say they will come and are very professional. Also clean up after themselves very well.  There have been times when they have made adjustments to my AC units to make them run longer instead of trying to force a replacement unit.  When they have replaced a unit, they give me my options by explaining all the different levels of units in language I can understand. When I have received estimates from more than one electrical company, they have been competitive.

I called, he answered, he checked the house, he fixed it, I paid him, he went back a week later to make sure it was working properly.  Also, he respond to text messages very quickly... the best way to reach out to him.

They fixed the problem but the price was high for the work done. We never were able to get a breakout of time and materials.

I got this company off Angie’s List and he gave me a discount for being a member. The scheduling was great. They are a good company. They did nice work and I haven't had any problems with it. I worked with David. He was very nice, cordial, friendly, on time, reasonable, and he was excellent!

They did  good work and fast. Inspection was good to go!

We just moved into an older house, and were dismayed that the air conditioning didn't seem to be cooling, although the home inspection had said it was functional but maybe in need of freon. I called a contractor with high ratings on Angie's list, only to discover we are outside their service range, but landed with K M instead. Jason (the technician who responded) was knowledgeable, friendly, polite and professional - plus our problem turned out to be a matter of oversight on our part. We paid only the service charge for Jason's time. I would recommend this company to anyone, based on their fast response to my need and honesty in resolving the problem.
Also: We are concerned that the older breakers currently installed may not be up to today's heavy electrical demands, and are planning to call K M to check it for us.

Another contractor referred K M Electrical Heating & AC to me.  My overall experience was excellent.  Their price was excellent; it was a small amount.  The quality of their work was excellent.  They were very responsive.  They were punctual.  They were very professional.
