They did a very thorough job. 

After firing three failed Landscaping Companies in the past five years we found Johnson Landscaping while driving home from work on a sign posted in a front yard of one of his clients.   We called Johnson's the following week-end and Danny Johnson the owner came to our home on Saturday May 7, 2011.   Keep in mind we knew the entire yard needed serious work and already paid previous landscaper's in our area (Statesville, NC) to care and maintain our yard while we living in South Dakota for the past four years. (Who by the way are all out of business.) Danny walked the entire yard and we listened to his recommendations, and prepared a to do list.  We sat down and went through the list and Danny priced each job out for us.   We knew the Irrigation System we had was installed incorrectly and needed to be replaced.   Grading was needed for proper drainage.  So here is the breakdown of the work performed,  4 loads of  dirt for grading ,  a dumpster for yard debris, Complete new irrigation system, 9 pallets of sod, , re-seeding and starter fertilizer, insecticide, trimming 52 white pines, transplanted plants to new beds, bed edge.  Danny Johnson and his crew (that's a important word "crew"  he has employed the same crew for years)  started work  on Monday May 9th and finished on May 13, 2011.  The transformation is incredible. His crew was polite and Danny was here during the entire process. Danny has been by our home every other day to check on the drainage and sod, and to re-adjust the watering times on the irrigation system. We have hired Johnson's to maintain our yard, and to finish our on-going project  so I will keep every-one up-dated. Johnson's bills you when the job is done to your satisfaction.   On time and on budget!!! (That's a good thing!!!)
