Home Depot's contractor, Romanoff Floor Coverings of Greensboro, NC, installed 450 square feet of tile.   The project involved removing old vinyl, preparing the floor, installing backer board, and installing porcelain tile.  I obtained several quotes for this project.  Home Depot was the lowest cost.   I was hesitant to use them because there were no reviews for Home Depot and none for Romanoff Floor Coverings out of Greensboro on Angie's list.   However, I decided to try them. The ENTIRE process was wonderful.   The estimator showed up on time and was professional.  The installers showed up on time, prepared to work.   One of the guys started removing the quarter round trim before I was even finished showing the lead guy the project.  The workers worked non-stop during the project.  They showed up as scheduled, daily, for 6 days.   The tile looks ABSOLUTELY wonderful!  Home depot even ended up refunding $127 to me because the project required less leveling compound than was estimated.   I can honestly and absolutely recommend Home Depot, and their contractor for this area - Romanoff Floor Coverings out of Greensboro, NC for tile projects.  This project went well from start to finish and the outcome was very good.
