They were very reasonable and professional and were done in a timely manner.

You get what you pay for.  The previous owner of the house had high reviews for the alarm company she had used.  As a new homeowner, we kept the existing plan and transfered had it transfered.  The day the tech came out to transfer the account, we were told "Oh, this is a cell account, not a line accout.  There haven't been any lines installed at all."  He then told us for an additional charge, we could just keep the cell hookups to alleviate the whole "robber snipping line scenario".  We agreed and went on with the transfer.  Within 10 days of having the system transfered, the alarm went into error mode and beeped constantly (starting at 5:00am).  We overode the system and it did it again.  It went off four times in less than a week.  We called Alarm South and they sent a technician to see what the issue was.  Apparently the cell signal wasn't strong in our location (even though the previous owner had used the EXACT same system for years) and we had two options: 1) purchase a signal booster (for $130.00) or purchase the new top of the line 4G radio transmitter for a mere $280.00.  "Oh yeah, and by the way, if you go with the signal booster, you will still have to purchase the new 4G transmitter by the end of the year since they are doing away completely with your 2G system."  I talked with the manager who (although sympathetic) said we could either pay it or go back to the land line system for a reduction in our monthly monitoring.  I provided then with a 3rd choice, drop the carrier.

They are always available when we forget to push the buttons. We haven't had any problems with the service. They're completely functional. They do respond.
