Dale comes highly recommended by a design team that I work with in Fayetteville. We have a very large pitched roof which was old and leaking. After the hail storm we could not wait any longer to have the roof replaced. Mr. Winters was the only roof company that we would consider. His quote was very fair based on the work required to replace the roof. Given the amount of work he had after the hail storm, we waited our turn for roofing. Once he started, his crew was constantly interrupted by the unusual amount of rain this year. He had to work a few hours each day in between the rain to get the work done. Despite the piecemeal way he was forced to complete the job, his crew made sure to clean up after themselves each and every time. I have to say the roof is beautiful, the attention to detail he employs is apparent. Our roof no longer leaks and I feel confident that this roof is the best in town. My parents hired another roofing company after the hail storm last summer.  The first red flag should have been they came to my parents house and told them they had no hail damage but a lot of rotten boards.  If there had been hail damage then the insurance company would have gotten involved and they didn't want that as it turns out I am sure.  They did a very poor job and charged my parents a huge sum of money that they did not have.  They left several places for water to leak in, charged for replacing all the plywood on the roof but didn't even replace half (I counted the sheets), used old fascia but were supposed to replace with new, and the list goes on and on.  My parents paid them when they requested the money before I could go over everything with the roofer.  They went straight to the bank and cashed the check within an hour!  I later found out they did not get a permit and only had a privilege license.  I was told they were basically a handy man.
I contacted Winters Roofing and Mr. Winters came over to my parents house.  I told him the whole story and he said he would check out the roof and that is when I knew have much the other company had taken advantage of my senior parents.  Mr. Winters said he would fix everything and that says a lot for his character because he is fixing someone else's mistakes and not making the money for installing a new roof.  He told us when he would return to do the repairs and also cut the ridge vent that the other roofers didn't even cut,  they just put the piece on the top of the roof to look like it had a ridge vent.  The first roofers had taken all the vents off the roof, per my parents request and were supposed to install the ridge vent.  The attic would have been an oven!  It took us months of back and forth discussions among ourselves as to the best way to handle the situation and that is why we took so long to contact Winters Roofing in June 2013.  Mr. Winters was as good as his word.  He took care of all the problems and didn't take advantage of my parents again!  I was so thankful to have found Winters Roofing!  My parents and I are totally satisfied and truly pleased with Winters Roofing.

Excellent responsiveness and work. In December 2011 I had a new roof put on my 112-year old home by another (NOT Winters Roofing) company. It started leaking around the chimney almost immediately. I had the roofer return several times to fix the problem but they could never get it to stop leaking. After a considerable amount of research I found Winters Roofing. Dale, the owner, explained his flashing process, using copper with soldered seams on the cap and base flashing with the tops of the cap flashing embedded into the chimney's mortar and properly spaced step flashing. Dale accomidated my schedule and completd the work quickly. The roof has not leaked a drop since and the copper looks great on the chimney. I will use Winters Roofing for any future roofing I need completed.

Everything went very well. They kept the work site clean, and they didn’t make a mess. I was very satisfied with their work.

I purchased an older mid centry modern house with an almost flat roof. Some of the 2x6s and eaves were severely rotted from years of neglect. The 2x6s were tounge and groove so Winters biscuit joined the replacement boards. When I had an issue with the roof leaking (which I found out wasn't from the roof at all but from cracked mortar around the brick fire place) Winters responded immediately. The cost of the job was three times less than a competitors bid!
