I was contacted by this company's owner (Steve Ford) after asking for recommendations for HVAC technicians. After explaining my situation, I was told that it would be more cost effective to replace my system. He was going to try and secure financing (my credit is not great) and would get back to me - this was on a Tuesday. When I had not heard back by Saturday (today - 12/15/2018), I contacted him and asked for his office location so I could come speak to someone face to face (I prefer this before hiring anyone for anything). He immediately became extremely defensive and evasive (I have our entire conversation saved). He eventually gave an address. I had actually driven past the location twice in the past week, and it is a vacant building with a for rent sign at the street. When I mentioned that detail, his story (and location) changed, and he became irate, used foul language, and then blocked the conversation. If a business owner is willing to be deceptive on something this simple, how can anyone trust any information or prefessional opinion he gives? I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone, and I will continue to spread my story of my encounter with him.

I'm not sure who is in charge of this company or what's going on with this company but I've had more than one negative encounter with a heating & air company under the same number. First encounter was last year when I hired someone to install a system in one of my houses. After they got paid they completely vanished. Wouldn't return any of my attempts to contact them. I never even got a receipt that's how quickly they vanished. Second encounter was today. I didn't know that it was the same company I dealt with before until I searched their phone number. To make a long story short I was inquiring about getting a system installed and had a few questions. It seems to me that they get completely unprofessional once asks a few questions. If I'm going to spend a few thousand dollars with a company I have every right to ask questions. I think that's only reasonable. So now I've had two negative encounters with what seems like the exact same company. I would recommend staying away, far away.

He basically dove headfirst into my system, crawling under the house, inspecting inside, inspecting outside. He examined the system top to bottom with regards to wear and tear, refrigerant levels and so on. The other company was not that thorough. The other company filled some refrigerant (twice) and left assuring us that everything else was good to go. So, when it died again a few days later and I called Mr. Ford. He came and checked my system and I had zero refrigerant. He found out why my refrigerant was leaking as well as some other issues on my 14 year old system. The bottom line is I am at a replace point because repair is about 1/3 of the cost of a new system and other parts may break in an endless cycle at the current system age. He didn't charge me anything for the thorough evaluation and gave me an estimate that ended up being on low/beginning end of the range to do a new install in the Fayetteville area. The high/upper end of the range for this area is about $2,000 beyond that. His honesty, technical skills, willingness to come out quickly and do thorough inspection, reasonable prices and so on convinced me that his company was the right one to do the install for me. I have no doubt that an installation performed by Mr. Ford is an installation that will leave a person satisfied for many years in the future without having to worry about it.
