He finds his "victims" in local home improvement stores - CAUTION! He approached me as I was looking at paint samples. He seemed very nice and I told him I was looking for someone to help me do a few things around my house in order to list it for sale. He came to my house and gave me an estimate and a contract was signed. He was specifically told that the bottom of the chair rail in the kitchen did NOT need any work and he proceeded to spackle some areas thereby requiring it to be painted again. He seems to create work not in the contract and then wants extra money. Once he started work, he never showed up when he said he would. He could not install the hand rail and I had to pay someone extra to finish this item. He could not properly install the new screen door at the front. Pictures showed it was way uneven and it got stuck. This could not be left that way - that's the first thing a realtor and prospective buyer see. I had to hire someone else to fix his screwed up screen door installation. He took it upon himself to make it necessary for me to purchase new front door locks so all keys would be the same with the back door. He had some trouble installing the new front door locks and his professionalism disappeared. In fact, he was downright scary with his foul mouth and screaming. My wooden stairs to the upstairs were damaged by his painters and their ladders. He left paint drips all over the kitchen floor and never cleaned up. He scratched my new double door refrigerator. Once he fixed the ceiling where there had been a leak, he insisted that the entire kitchen ceiling be repainted. All I wanted was the area to be painted. This person also can be working under the name of Down & Dirty Maintenance with Janice Nitti. He would use some of my tools and supplies and never returned them to me cleaned up or back to original condition. Stay far away from this person!
