I could not be happier with Scott's work. The man is an artist.
This is an addendum to the review done in May of 2012:
I tried not to write this addendum for a long, long, time and tried to get Scott over to my house to fix the problems.
Scott recommended where I purchase the flooring materials. Everything looked great upon installation. About 6 months later the bamboo planks that were installed shrank and now I have gaps between the shoe molding and the flooring. And a big gap in the middle of the hallway flooring. It looks terrible. I contacted Scott and he said that it was my dehumidifier that shrunk the floors, and recommended that I change the dehumidifier setting (which I did) and let the floor sit thru a summer of high humidity (which I did). I have had dehumidifiers in other homes in the past and this has NEVER happened. I had a contractor come out and look at it and did some research myself and the Asian bamboo he recommended and I purchased has a higher water content than USA made products. The flooring was not seasoned well enough to dry it out and thus shrunk after installation. It is very disappointing.
I have contacted Scott and tried to get him over to repair the unsightly gaps, but he now doesn't even return my calls or emails. I even told him that I would be happy to pay him to repair the gaps. Still no response from Scott. I guess I will have to go with another company to get the repairs done. Overall, I am very disappointed in my floors.
