Not good overall. I was promised the completed job in one week. It was not completed after two weeks. I was told the paint would be a hard coat as the boat stays on a trailer. A hard coat paint was not used so it scrapes off during launch and load. Also, boat was put on trailer when paint not dry all the way. It stuck to the bunk material and tore it off one of the bunks. When I called to inquire about boat pick up, I was told it was ready except for paperwork and I could pick up the next morning. When I went over the next day, it was not ready and no one seemed to know the status. I asked if it would be ready the next day and they said OK. When I went back the next day, paperwork still not ready so had to wait about and hour to be prepared. When I went to launch the boat, the paint stuck to the bunks and tore the fabric off of one bunk. Then after getting the boat in the water I discovered the transmission linkage had not been reattached so I had no power at the prop. I had to re-trailer and take back to Boat House Marine. They knew what was wrong, they had not re-attached the linkage properly and immediately set about to fix. I waited a couple of hours for completion. During this, they found some fishing line around my prop hub and fixed it at no charge. I then went back to launch the boat. It worked fine this time but I then notice that the trailer boat guides had been removed at Boat House and had not been replaced. I had to drive back to Boat House Marine where the guides were laying out back, they were found and reinstalled. In calling George, the owner, with report of these issue, he was VERY defensive and initially offered nothing to help improve the situation and claimed he had no remembrance of telling me about needing the hard coat paint. After much discussion, he offered my wife a one year warranty on the paint scuffing due to trailering. He will most definitely be having to do this as some paint is scuffed off at each trailering. In summary, they took more than twice as long to complete the work than was promised, the entire job was slammed causing me many returns for remedy and then they did not want to immediately offer any remedy for the poor service and lack of professionalism. My wife had to suggest the year warranty. It seems they do not have a very professional operation going on at Boat House Marine. I won't be back except for warranty work on the job they did.
