I don't know how the owner, Kelly, could have been more accommodating. He and his crews were as professional as I have ever had and I have been a homeowner for more than forty years. Recommended highly.

Overall, at first glance, the flooring upstairs looks good, but it is the attention to detail. Installation of cracked boards, covering nail holes with a wood filler that does not match the color of the floor being installed. This was an installation of true hardwood floors, not a laminate. Then we get to the stair installation. The provider does NOT take responsibility for the work of his subcontractors and did not provide a scope of work that would explain the poor quality of the overall installation. The original stairs were replaced with complete unfinished hardwood treads/landings, primed risers, and new primed baseboard. The quality of the materials was first rate, but the work was not. Face nailing stair treads and using putty (not plugs) to attempt to hide nail holes (still quite visible), and then I was told that using plugs to hide nails was not in the scope of work. Doing the job to a standard expected isn't about "scope of work". Next, the subcontractor came in to stain and varnish and did not mask any of the primed materials. As a result, there is stain and varnish on all the new WHITE risers and baseboard. The provider was contacted about the cracked boards installed, and it took two trips to get it corrected properly. The first time, his people did a poor job and tried to hide it with caulk at the bottom of baseboard. Also the provider was contacted about the substandard work of his subs, and I am left with either replacing risers and baseboard, or spending the hours needed to sand off oil based stain and varnish so allow repainting. I made the assumption that with the location of the providers business (near upscale neighborhoods) and a 15 year business history that the work would be outstanding. At the price paid, I not only did not get what I expected, I am less than satisfied.

They are excellent. I like them because they have broad selection, competitive prices, attention to detail, punctuality, and honesty. The price was reasonable.

The crew was extremely professional and never complained despite the difficult work. They showed up EVERY SINGLE DAY on time as scheduled. Never once did I have to wait for them to arrive. They always cleaned up at the end of every day, and by clean, I mean they wiped down all my cabinetry, swept and inspected for every nail and splinter of wood. They were very concerned about the safety of my young children during the installation and reminded me daily to be careful. The crew showed immense respect for my home, our furnishings, our family and their work. The men showed up clean, polite and ready to work, and work they did! I never saw them taking a break that lasted longer than 5 minutes. I am also pleased to say that the price quoted me was $3000 (yes, that's $3000) less than another competitor's quote. THe worksmanship is outstanding and the product looks amazing in my home. If anyone has questions about their work, please contact me at [email protected] and I will be happy to tell you more about it.

This was a house remodel. We removed the old carpet ourselves. Job # 1 was to install 3/4 inch thick 3 1/4 inch wide red oak wood flooring. Install went great. A 6 foot stair tread didn't come in time so they came out on another day and installed it. Job #2 was to install 12 inch x 24 inch porcelain tile on floors in bathrooms and laundry room. Great job as well.
