Mr. McCrimmon did an excellent job clearing out the remainder of our property that the builders had left a mess. He was very professional and stayed until we were satisfied with the job. I would definitely hire him again.

I used them for a along time then all of a sudden they quit with no warning. He said apparently they couldn't do a good enough job for our yard. I've been using them since 2013 and in October that was the end of it. I wasn't real happy, sometimes they did a good job and sometimes they didn't but if I  would ask them anything, he would get upset. They did extra things. I thought they were kind of high compared to what I have now. I mean to leave somebody high and dry, they just didn't show up, they didn't tell me anything, they never called me and I waited a week.

Everyone at McCrimmon was wonderful to work with. Todd was very patient helping us figure out what we wanted to do. The work they did was beautiful, and everyone involved was punctual, professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them or hire them again.

This is the first landscaping company out of the three that have been to our new construction house that correctly installed sod.  They have the proper equipment to move dirt and grade. We have a hill that slopes towards our house and they were able to correct how water moved around our house. They were the first company to bring out a large rolling machine to tamp down the dirt, they raked and laid the sod in brick-like fashion. They then used the lawn roller over the sod. They noticed our pop-up connected to our gutters was set up hill. They decided to move it and good thing they did because the home builder's landscaper cut through our french drain to lay the pop up. McCrimmon then repaired our french drain. We will be using McCrimmon Landscaping for future projects.

Todd was very helpful and professional, along with his whole crew! I will definitely recommend and also plan on using them again for other projects with my yard!

Todd was professional, punctual, and easy to work with (including with our budget) - great customer service.  His crew was also very professional and helpful. The quality of the fence was great and had no issues, as well as with the irrigation system. I would definitely recommend his services, and we are considering working with them again for landscaping in the future.
The only recommendation I do have before contracting with any irrigation service is to ask about any state/city code requirements.  A backflow was required by law, which Todd informed us about.  However, he was not aware of, nor was our city (who granted the irrigation permit), that NC requires a separate water meter for the irrigation system.  The state notified us about this after installation was complete, which will tack on an additional $1500 or so. Todd was unaware of this requirement, but says they will be sure to connect our system to the meter once it is installed.

The final product looks great, better than we expected.  Todd was very responsive, came out and did the estimate and provided guidance on what would like/ work better for our space.  We got our estimate back quickly.  We had 2 other companies come out and look and their estimates were higher even with less linear footage and cheaper material.  The crew arrived on time, were very professional, did excellent work and cleaned up the site.  The gates were installed the next day.  Todd gave additional advice on the type of metal fencing how to install.  Throughout the process, this organization has been completely professional and fair.  We will continue to use McCrimmon for any all services they provide in the future.  As new residents to the area, it is a relief to have found a company that you can trust.

They were outstanding.  They used high quality sod and were reasonably priced.  They were courteous and were on time.  The end result came out nice.

We contacted them as soon as we closed on the house.  They were able to come out, give us an estimate and get started within 48 hours.  They knew we were crunched for time with moving into our new home with 2 large dogs.  They got the fence up quickly and beautifully (before Christmas).  My husband asked for modifications on the gates and the promptly accomodated his requests.  The pines look great and our front yard looks much better without the stumps!

We bought a new construction house that had no fence.  We shopped around for contractors to build a fence to contain our three enormous dogs.  We found McCrimmon to be best combination of price, quality, and professionalism of the contractors we contacted.  They worked well as a team and were very efficient. The owner Todd came out every day to supervise the crew and answer any questions I had. I would recommend him to anyone looking to build a fence.  As for the drainage system, we live on a slope.  During the last few downpours, it looked like a raging river in the backyard that you could kayak down.  There has not been a downpour since the construction of the drainage system, so I will update the post to report how the drainage system is working.
