Coastal Plumbing

Very bad. He broke our sink (literally, we had to buy another sink) and our shower diverter. He pounded on both of them with a metal tool. Ended up using a hacksaw to remove kitchen faucet when all he had to do was remove sink, access faucet from beneath and reset sink (per new plumber). Hired another plumber who tried 30 mins but could not remove the diverter after this guy pounded it into the valve system. We now have to spend tons of money to have the opposite bedroom wall torn out(and repaired) in order to replace the entire valve system. EXPENSIVE. On top of that, he fussed and fumed the entire job. Do not hire this person...very unqualified and very unprofessional.

Rick Miller, the owner of Coastal Plumbing here in the Sneads Ferry/Holly Ridge area arrived at my home within an hour of me reaching out to him regarding a leak. Rick arrived and went to work diagnosing​ and then taking a photo to show me exactly where the leak was within the plumbing. He was personable, ​professional​e, and knowledgeable​. Prior to Rick arriving, we'd spent $200.00 in two days having a washer repairman and our HVAC repairman to check out what we thought was a washer..and then an HVAC problem. Our HVAC man Aaron with Miller Heat/Cool thankfully found the leak and recommended Rick w/ Coastal Plumbing. The biggest surprise was that Rick's invoice was so reasonable. He is a fair and honest man. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will have him on speed dial forever! Thank you Rick Miller!

Excellent … efficient, tidy, and jobs well done!

I found Rick through the N. Topsail Beach permit office. Anyone recommended by a permit office usually does great work. Rick is no exception. He did a fantastic job. Everything is to code and I especially like that he ran red and blue pipes to indicate hot and cold. He didn't use a lot of fittings which is great because it should minimize potential leaks. Rick is very professional, I did not feel uncomfortable having him at the house when my husband was not home. I highly recommend Coastal Plumbing. We already have Rick scheduled to come back!!

I have used Coastal Plumbing twice. I had a very positive experience with them. He was prompt and efficient. I was dealing with him from a distance. He was excellent. We had a vanity top come in that was broken and he had to return it for us and get the replacement.

He had to purchase a new vanity top since the one we had purchased was broken. He got it all done. This is a rental property and we live 400 miles away. He kept us informed all the way.
