They are always on time, helpful and considerate.

We have Wood to do routine checks and maintenance, but when we needed our chimney re-sided and the contractor found bugs in the old siding, the stopped work. Wood came out VERY quickly to check out the situation, make sure it wasn't termites (a known problem in our neighborhood) and reassured us it was a type of bug that only eats rotten wood (which is why we were re-siding). The speed and efficiency of their response was incredible and VERY reassuring. I would recommend them to anyone!

I use Wood Termite and Pest Control to handle my termite prevention and pest control needs and I have always been pleased with their service. I had been thinking about putting in a vapor barrier to help with the musty air in the crawl space and mentioned it to my pest control technician Jonathan Adams. He inspected the area while at my house for a pest control treatment and agreed that it would be a good idea. He even gave me a rough idea of the cost. I called the office and was pleased to learn that I could get a Saturday appointment. The office called me the day prior to confirm the appointment between nine and eleven. Jimmy Faison arrived at approximately ten. He went over the proposal in a very professional and courteous manner. We discussed the items under the house and talked about what should be discarded and what was to be kept. Jimmy cleaned out all items under the house and then asked me to confirm again what to keep and what could go. He loaded the debris that could go on his truck to take with him. I was very grateful that I would not have to take care of it. He installed the new vapor barrier under my entire home and it took about three hours. When the job was complete he came to let me know he had completed the work. We went to look at the crawl space and I was very pleased with the appearance. He had placed all of the items I kept back in a neat and orderly stack. He also had cleaned up all of his supplies. I had asked a neighbor if they could park on their driveway as it was closer to the crawl space entrance. Jimmy even went over to thank them for letting him park there. I would highly recommend Wood Termite and Pest Control for a vapor barrier installation, Jimmy was pleasant to work with and I am very pleased that I got the professional job I had hoped for.

We're having a part of our house re-sided, and when the old siding was taken down, rotted wood was found underneath. The contractors said they thought it looked like termite damage.
Being under contract with Wood, I of course called them right away. At first they were unsure if they could get an inspector out the same day, but when I explained that there was siding off my house and that the contractors were at a stand-still until we know what to do, I was told we could set aside the wood in question and let the contractors continue, and they would and quot;do their bestand quot; to get someone out ASAP.
Two hours later someone was at my house - and happily it was not termite damage, but rather wood borer beetles (which are not covered under our contract with Wood Termite and Pest). The inspector who came out did a check of our crawl-space to be sure there was no termite activity.
I am most impressed with the following:

* Wood was able to rearrange their schedules to get someone out to me very quickly. I know this isn't always an easy thing to do and very much appreciate it

• * The inspector had the knowledge to be able to identify the type of damage and explain the conditions under which this sort of damage happens (wood that's already got moisture problems or rot)
• * The inspector did an inspection on the spot to be *sure* we didn't have termite issues, or other issues beyond the one identified
• * All of this was done in a friendly and polite manner, and in a way that minimized my worries.

The only issue I had with this company was they had a little trouble scheduling the work.

I called and setup a time for the work and then had an emergency come up so I needed to reschedule. When I called they said they didn't have me on the calendar. On the first visit the person they sent out was a little too large to get to certain areas under my house so he said they would send a smaller person. They setup a time for the second person to come out to complete the job, and again we seemed to get the time and date confused. But all in all they did a very good job and every person that came to the house was very professional.

The prices at Wood Termite and Pest Control were lower or comparable to other companies. They knew what they were talking about. The price was fairly good. They were willing to price match with another company that was lower. I haven't seen any termites since they've been out here.

Very professional and very thorough. We had the start of termites 3 or 4 years ago and called Wood based on some business associates recommendations. They have always been very responsive and their prices are very comparable!

The technicians are always courteous. We haven't had any problems. If we had, they always address them for us. Even if it's not under our service agreement, they will fix it for us. We've been dealing with the same guy for 5 years.

I am pleased with the service. They do what needs to be done including surveying the perimeter of the home and address anything that needs to be done. We have using five or six years now. I have no complaints with their service. They call ahead to confirm that day and they are prompt.

I have been using them for twenty years. They come out every month. They did an excellent job. They inspected everything. They came out on time. They are good at closing the gates every time, and it is little things like this that makes me stay with them. They are very efficient, responsive, and professional. They have always done what they said they would. Their price is comparable. I have not seen any termites. I like dealing with them.

They are very thorough they spray under the house and get ride of any spider webs they see. I have been using them for at least 10 years. Ralph is the technician that comes and I actually moved and requested that he would be the one to come out and to my new house.

Always good

I have an ongoing contract with them and I've been using them for 25 years. They come in every year to do an inspection. I had trouble with them in the past with billing but they got that straightened out.

During a routine insect inspection I inquired about about gutter guard effectiveness in keeping insects out of gutters and attics. I was not aware they offered a gutter guard service. The quality of the product and cost was by far the best value. Their product was not rated in a recent Consumer Reports review, however it seemed this product would offer similar performance as their better rated products. Installation was very quick. It's been a few months since the product was installed and there are no signs of leaf build-up, although I have not been up on a ladder to inspect in closer detail.

They are polite and professional. They make appointments and come when they say that they are going to come. Their pricing is as good as other companies and I have been satisfied with their service.

I have not had any problems. I do know that they will come out between visits if there are any problems. I pay $60 per visit. They always arrive on time. I would like them to do a little more follow up, just checking in from time to time. That is the only suggestion I would make to improve their service.

THEIR SERVICE WASN'T BAD, BUT THEY WERE EXPENSIVE. IT WAS A VERY ROTATING GROUP OF GUYS THAT WOULD BE OUT AT THE HOUSE. WE DIDN'T KNOW THE WORKERS AND THAT IS WHAT PROMPTED US TO CANCEL THEM.

OUR HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION HAD RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY. WE HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS WITHOUT ANY INFESTATION. I FEEL CONFIDENT USING THEM TO PREVENT TERMITES. THEY ARE VERY PUNCTUAL.

WE HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TERMITES FOR THREE YEARS NOW, AND JUST WHEN WE THINK WE HAVE THE PROBLEM UNDER CONTROL, WE FIND ANOTHER INFESTATION. THEY HAVE TRIED ANYTHING AND CAN'T GET RID OF THEM. TIME TO CALL A DIFFERENT COMPANY.
