In addition to finding the Alabaster shade mentioned above, I purchased two ceiling fans from Brenda about 5 years ago that I mounted in the same room at my home. One of the fans began making noise that progressively got worse with time. I talked with Brenda about the situation because of a lifetime warranty on the fans, and she contacted the manufacturer. She later told me that the particular model fan I had installed was no longer available. She discussed this fact with the manufacturer and told them that I needed two fans because they were both installed in the same room and a single replacement isn't available. The manufacturer agreed to replace both ceiling fans at no cost to me. Thanks Brenda!!!
Description of Work: I've been a customer of Smithfield Lighting Center for several years. I recently talked with Brenda Hare, a Lighting Consultant about finding a real two piece Alabaster shade for a semi flush entry lamp I have installed in my home. Unfortunately, I accidentally dropped the shade about a year ago while changing a light bulb and have been unable to find a replacement. Brenda checked availability and discovered the lamp has been discontinued for a couple of years and the likelihood of finding replacement parts were slim. She and her husband searched and were able to find the last two remaining shades in stock anywhere in the country. I was absolutely amazed they were able to locate this shade for me.
