Miracle Method called to cancell their appointment due to Equipment Failure.

Not Well. Brad spent most of the first day either locked in the bathroom or on the phone with someone. At one point he told me someone would have to come back because the towel bar screws would not come loose and he would need a Dremel tool to remove them . I told him I had a Dremel and I removed the screws to elimate a delay.

Brad returned at 10am and said the guy that was suppose to complete the job had to go to Greenville to get more product. He left at 12 noon. At 3:30pm and second crew arrived with a trainee. The trainee was told by the senior member that this is what a bad job looks like. They left at 7:30 because they had run out of product. They wanted to come back the next day but I had to see my friend who was dying of cancer the next day. They said they could not be back until 1/10/2012.

They showed up at 3:00pm. Tub looks great but the bathroom is a mess. They are coming back tomorrow to clean up.

They showed up at 3:30 and completed the job. The faceplate on the shower control was severley scrached. BJ attemped to get a new one but the local stores did not have one. He will order one. When I commented that this was the last room of a complete home makeover including wall removal and total kitchen remodel and I did not have one ounce of problems with all those venders and contractors. BJ's comment was the he guessed I were due to have a bad experience.

HAd to call them back because a portion of the coating was becoming undone.
During the course of the work and prep, they removed the glass shower doors and wall frame, faucet knobs, medicine cabinets, and a room door, On the last day of work, I asked about putting all the things back they took off. I was informed by the Selma office they did not do that. So it ended up, what they did not want to cover, they took off and then it became our responsibility to reinstall. They allowed $125.00 off their price to allow us to have the shower doors reinstalled. They did nothing to protect other areas of the house during their work, including floors and carpets of which they were on several times a day. Each day and at the end of the project, the house was covered in a white sticky glaze, furniture, walls, floors, etc which we are still washing to remove. I would use this refinishing process again, but I would not use the Triangle franchise.
Co-owner Kim explained exactly how it was done and gave me a ball park figure on the cost. What they do is spray on a new surface over your old counter tops and from the samples they had at the home show we thought this was the best way to go on our budget.
The other owner Rodney came over a few days later with samples and a free estimate. The price was good and I chose a color.
I explained I wanted to go with a dark color in a deep gray granite look. I told Rodney I do not want anything beige. I ultimately went with a color that looked like what I had in mind.
More about that later. Rodney nor the workers that did the job prepared me for the amount of dust and smell this stuff causes.
They did what I thought was a good job of sealing everything in plastic in my kitchen, however this stuff ended up all over the house and even found it's way into my cupboards and stove top. This stuff goes everywhere and I would have done more prepping had I been warned. (I'm still trying to scrape this off of my stove top grill.) They need to inform the customer exactly what will be done and to be aware they must move food and anything you don't want sprayed at least 50 feet away.
They first spray an under coat (it was beige) then the top coat that has the color chips in it to make it look like granite or marble or some kind of stone. I told them I wanted it darker so they sprayed some more chips, then they left and would come back the next day for top coat that seals it and said if I wanted to make it darker they would do that when they come back.
They came back (always late I might add) and did not have my color with them so I told them to just seal it, I had to get my kitchen back.
They sealed it and said if I want another layer of top coat to smooth it out they would come back and do that. the counter felt a little rough, like when I ran a dish cloth over it, it got snagged by the chips so I called Rodney who would send someone over that day.
Well he showed up in a small van (not the one they used to spray with, but don't know for sure if the sealant was in there or not).
Came inside and said it didn't need another top coat I said well I would like one and also I wanted the silicone sealing around my built in stove that they showed me at the home show. He said he didn't.have it with him. What? I just spoke with Rodney about that who sent this guy over to do it.
Okay so I called again and they said they would send someone over that week for the silicone sealing but that was almost 4 weeks ago and they never came back.
I did get a thankyou card from Rodney, which was a nice touch. But I think they need to communicate between themselves a little better and not try to do too many jobs just because they're in the area on any given day.
The end result was the counter top looks 100 % better than it did, just not completed the way I would have liked it.
So I've had to change the entire color scheme in my kitchen due to having a mostly beige counter top.
I might use them again to resurface my bath countertops but I'll be sure it's done to my liking.
