First of all he did not show when he was scheduled. He was to call me at work but never did. I was then planning to get another service after about four days and then he called to reschedule. He was to come the next afternoon at 4:30PM but showed up at 5:10, which was no problem because they were to install it pretty fast. First off they did not bring a ladder to install on the roof as the last provider had. They told me they only installed on the ground with at pole, had that been the case I would not have been able to have any reception based on the location of the trees in my yard. Well I had a ladder, they used, but the installation was not very professional and not very fast. At 7:30 they left my residence and I had no TV reception and I did not even know they were gone. After some time I finally got my TV working but they had not installed the service in my bedroom. When I called they said they would be by on Saturday morning at 10:00AM - well they came by at 1:10PM. They installed the receiver in my bedroom and programmed my receiver, but not like they had originally told me. I was told that I would get the same channels from Direct TV that I had been getting from Dish Network except that it would be $2.00 per month cheaper. Did not happen, everything I asked about they stated could be done but it did not happen. I had to negotiate with Direct TV to get the sports channels that I wanted, but in one year I will have to pay full price. I was told that my remote would work fine with the system but it did not. When the rep saw that it would not, he stated that he could get me a universal remote that would work everything for me and that he would have it the next Wednesday. (Never Happened) He never came by and he never called about it. During the sale, the rep. stated that I could get everything that I was asking except that it would be cheaper. I was satisfied with Dish Network but he said that Direct TV would be better and cheaper. I then told him all I wish for is to get more HD channels but he said that I could get even more from Direct TV. Hearing this I decided to go with what he stated - later I found out that if you switch to a new service he can get more money out of the deal. He really had no idea of what I would be getting from Direct TV, if I asked a question it was always sure we can do that, but in reality he didn't have a clue. After the installation, if the wind blew really hard I would have to go up onto the house and work with the wiring because I was forever losing reception, seems it was not connected properly. I repaired that myself plus straightened up the wiring that was lying loose on my roof. I really do not like what I have now but will have to live with it for the next two years, since I have a contract with Direct TV. The Andrews rep told me I would only have to have the service for one year but there again he was wrong. Bad work, bad information and totally unprofessional all around.
