CARSWELL Restoration

Everyone involved with the repairs were wonderful! Ben and Daniel treated me respectfully even as I became overly worked up because I couldn't remember the carpet I had selected. Chris came out and removed the carpet and dried everything out and then the demo crew came in (I hope to get there names). After that Chad and Scott with their helper Damian came to do smoke remediation. That crew was with us the longest and were so considerate to my children and dogs. They displayed more patience than I on many occasions. The roofers were very considerate and did a wonderful job on clean up. I haven't found any roofing nails and it wasn't for the lack or trying (kids and dogs). Marivn and Saul came next and finshed the trim and the fire box and they are awesome too!! Originally I was thinking that the crews initial treatment was a fluke but eveyone who entered my home maintained a standard of absolute respect amd consideration. Following Marvin and Saul the the demo team came back to to the final push (loose ends). They completed the extrior painting and tile work. I would be surprised if no one from that crew thought I was neurotic (couldnt remember the carpet color). They were totally amazing how they handled my back and forth. Was it brown and tan or blue and grey? Eh. The carpet layers will be here soon and I have no doubt they will follow the standard set from the others. Ben and Daniel have the great fortune of employing not just tradesmen but craftsmen as well. I would have no problem employing them in the future. By the way the carpet was brown with flecks of different shades, very nice.

I called my insurance company the morning after the water leak. They in turn dispatched Mr. Carswell to my home he arrived on time and with an assistant to see the scope of the damage and take measurements. He was polite and very professional. The following day his crew showed up to start work. They took care to protect my personnel property and did the removal of all damaged material. The crew that came out was professional and personable as well as very knowledgeable. They were fast and efficient. It took 3 days to dry out the affected areas. The 3rd day was a Saturday and they still showed up to remove the rather noisy fans and dehumidifiers. The repairs began on the following Monday and proceeded just as they had been explained to me. The only problem I had was they were not always on time. I think this was a communication breakdown as it was the office manager that called to let me know they were on the way. He was probably not always aware that the work crew needed to pick up supplies before coming to my home.

Bill, the owner, was out to my house within 30 minutes of me calling him.  Bill and his whole crew were out to the house before the fire department had even released it.  Bill also had a contract with my insurance company so he was able to do the assessment and send all that information to my insurance company.  This saved a lot of time and phone calls as the insurance company did not have to send out an adjuster.  Bill and his crew worked for almost 24 hours straight before taking a break.  He sent me to my parent's house and the next day the house was almost unrecognizable as they had already torn walls down and almost completely gutted the house.  Bill immediately stepped in and took control of everything that needed to be done.  He let me know he would handle everything and he would contact me when he needed me.  They were absolutely wonderful, his wife washed some of my clothes that could be salvaged and they even salvaged and washed pennies I had in the house.  Bill wrote everything up in very thorough detail for the insurance company and anytime they had questions Bill was insistent on dealing with them.  They really took care of everything and were completely trustworthy.  Bill was unbelievable with the attention to detail.  I had mentioned something about my cats that live both indoor and outdoor and Bill made sure to install a cat door.  Bill was so knowledgeable about the entire process and knew exactly what needed to be done to keep the integrity of the structure of my home.  They respected me and my home as if it were their own.  I did not have to check up on them and Bill saved everything he possibly could.  I cannot say enough about Bill and his crew, they made this awful situation completely manageable and fixable.  They truly were a God send and an answer to a pray.
