I saw his name on line My wife and I live out of town. I contacted Dillon ,we talked. I hired him without really knowing how his work was. Have him a key to the house we had purchased. He and his workers came in and sanded the floors. Cleaned up what mess they had made and put furniture back. It was 2 months latter when I came back down to Shallotte and saw the floors. They were beautiful. Everything he said they would do was done. Beautiful job and not even knowing him or his work except what reviews were on line. He did excellent work and really no mess for me to take care of when I was back down in early October. Very trustworthy. I really can't say to much about his work without taking up 2 pages of space. I would recommend him anytime.

Dillon and his crew are friendly, hard working and professional. They were on time each day, finished the job when estimated, and my floors were beautifully restored for a fair price.

They did a fantastic job! My husband and I are are totally impressed and pleased with the work this company has done Our floors were in really bad shape after 20 years of high traffic and living near the beach. I was hesitant that the floors could be refinished we were actually looking at vinyl flooring. Wood floors came recommended so we met with them and discussed our issues and our wants. They came in that Saturday and did a little demo to show what a small section could look like. We liked what we saw and thought let’s give it a try. They were very professional and extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I would highly recommend them. They made the experience easy and our floors? They look brand new!!

From the very beginning, I was impressed with Dillon. He returned my calls promptly and arrived at my home at the scheduled times. He and his team (David, Brandon, and Brandon) were amazing. They arrived on time--every time--and worked consistently. Everyone was friendly, polite, hard-working, and professional. They were extremely careful when moving my furniture and even took photos so they could replace everything to the proper locations. Because they sawed, drilled, and painted almost all of the wood outside, there was little dust throughout the house. They also vacuumed many times throughout the project and left my home immaculate. They removed all of the linoleum and old carpeting and disposed of it. I felt that the price was fair considering the amount of work that was involved. I would highly recommend Dillon and his team to anyone!

Dillon and his team did an excellent job. They worked on a very tight timeline and finished the job on time. Very professional and friendly and would definitely hire them again. Highly recommend!

Dillon has quite a gift for this. His floors are AWESOME! He was able to find a stain that blended our oak and pine together yet brilliantly displayed beautiful wood grain for the first time since we have owned the house. We are THRILLED with our floors! If you have a similar project, I would STRONGLY recommend hiring Dillon Wood.

Ryan Sullivan and his crew, Nick and David, faced quite a challenge with our job. They needed to removed old bamboo flooring, then match the species of the existing oak oak, so as not to show where the old hardwood met the new. Ryan did an excellent job matching the hardwood, and when I described the stain I wanted, but they didn't carry the color in their samples, David recalled from years of experience the brand and color I was attempting to describe. Finally, because of contractor delays not tied to Sullivan Ryan and the guys were more than patient, having to reschedule their job around my contractor - 3 times. I highly recommend Sullivan's Hardwood Floors!

They were great. He came though like a champ. He was very good about notifying me if he was going to be late. He would call me promptly to let me know.

Ryan and his team arrived on time on the scheduled date.  They were very polite and friendly.  They started right away and prepared the sub-floor on one side of the house and moved the furniture to the other.  They planed each joint in the sub-floor to ensure a smooth transition between sub-floor panels.  It took them one day to finish half of the downstairs.  Then they moved the furniture back and started removing the linoleum and backer board.  They stayed late the second day to help me out since I needed to reinstall the plumbing fixtures that night before I left town.  They finished up the third day and we paid the final balance once my wife reviewed the floors.  They were great to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

Went very well. Always showed up on time, did what he said he would do and did a fantastic job. Would use again.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Ryan Sullivan and his crew are at what they do.  After 12 days of dealing with another contractor, on what was supposed to be a four day job of "screen and recoat" of our hardwood, we realized that we had made a BAD HIRE!!!  This somewhat simple process ended up with BUBBLES over the entire 1200 square feet of flooring.  Upon firing that crew, I immediately began my search on Angie's List, with Sullivan's Hardwood Flooring being one of the three hardwood flooring specialist that I contacted.  I was totally impressed with the immediate response from Mr. Sullivan who also followed up with a phone call early the next morning, as promised.  He was prompt to come out to look at our project and through conversation, we felt confident that he was the person who could turn our disaster into a masterpiece.  He did not disappoint!!  Mr. Sullivan and his team had to undo all the damage that had been done by the first crew we hired.  This included sanding to remove unevenly applied stain and smoothing out the uneven floors left behind, replacing a section of rotten hardwood in our Sunroom (that our first hire had stated was okay) and finally reapplying stain and poly.  The project was completed on time, as promised, and Mr. Sullivan maintained high standards throughout the process.  We are COMPLETELY satisfied and have already referred him to one of our friends.  If you're looking for a true professional  who takes pride in what they do, we highly recommend Sullivan's Hardwood Flooring.

I got three estimates, from different companies, and Ryan was head-and-shoulders above the others in every respect.  He was prompt in response and scheduled an appointment immediately.  He was punctual and respectful of me and my home.  I received an estimate, via email, that was completely itemized so that I knew exactly what everything would cost.  
The other two companies were much less professional and could only give me a vague ballpark idea of cost/labor, etc.  
Ryan and I agreed on the first week of January, but he had a cancellation the week leading up to Christmas and offered me a 5% discount if I would agree to let them come early.  I was only too happy to comply.  It was a mad scramble, but I had brand new hardwood floors for Christmas!
They were here for 4 days and arrived on time every morning.  Every employee was very respectful of us and they cleaned up behind themselves every day.  They were efficient and very careful in the handling of our furniture.  They removed all the carpet and did a beautiful job of matching the new hardwoods to the old. 
I feel completely confident in recommending Ryan.  I have renovated several houses in the area and have had positive and negative experiences.  Ryan is definitely at the top of the list for positive experience.  He is a fine young family man who was obviously raised right!
I am very late in writing this review and I apologize to Ryan.  Can't believe I forgot!!

it was a great experience.Ryan and his crew are professionals. in and out in a short  period of time and left no mess. no trace they were even there except for the beautiful repair work!

Ryan and his crew worked well together. He made sure to explain all the steps that would be performed and why they were being done. It was clear from the start that he knew what he was doing, was passionate about what he was doing, and the job would be done right. These were the qualities that led us to go with Sullivan's over the other estimates we received...and we are glad we did. No surprise additional costs and done on time. If you want quality work, you won't be disappointed with the work Sullivan's Floors delivers.

Work was timely.  The men were very neat and kept dust to a small minimum.  Very pleased with overall work.

We received a very thorough assessment of the work that needed to be done. We are installing a new kitchen and need approximately 425 feet of flooring to be refinished. Ryan spent about an hour with us explaining everything in detail. We have scheduled for the work to be completed and will provide an update when the work has been completed. 3eThe only thing I neglected to ask was how long before we would receive our estimate. That took about a week. We die not think that was a terribly long time but others took only a few days so we were expecting it sooner

I obtained estimates from 4 different providers and found Ryan to be, far and away, the most professional and knowledgeable.  He was prompt.  His estimate was well-itemized.  I could see exactly what I would be charged.  Nothing was left to chance.  He and his men were here on time, every day, and worked diligently until they were finished.  They were here for 4 days and were respectful of my home and family.  
They did beautiful work and were very careful in moving our furniture.  I can recommend him without hesitation or reservation.

I was very impressed with Ryan's professionalism, his product knowledge and his work ethic. It's not often we see "sub-contractors" with this kind of dedication to their trade. He is also very "in to" the facets of his trade. He understands the depth of his tools and materials and is constantly trying to find better ways of improving his services. I would recommend Ryan to anyone who is in need of floor improvements of any kind.

We wanted the hardwood floors in our house which is 2400 square feet refinished before we moved in.  And we wanted to put commercial grade finish on them for durability.  We were also going to get them stained, but our floors were different wood then expected.  Even though we were three hours away, Ryan kept us up to date on the status of the project.  He sent pictures and did alot of research to ensure we get the best results possible.  He finished the project on time and the floors look wonderful, we are thrilled!  We highly recommend him to anyone.
