We loaded the pressure washer in my car and drove home.  I hooked up the water line to the pressure washer, turned on the water spigot, and started the motor.  Immediately, the "quick connect" for the pressure side of the line was shooting a geyser from the connection.  I tried to reconnect the link several times without success.  Finally, I gave up and began using it, geyser and all.  The pressure was low but not low enough that I could not get it to work for this job.  The pressure washing task took me about double the time because my passes over the wood had to be very close and therefore very narrow.

After I was finished, I returned it to the store.  I told the man about my problem.  He looked into the quick-connect port and announced that it needed a "new O-ring".   Obviously, this company does not pay much attention to the maintenance if its equipment.  Next time I need a pressure washer, I will be shopping elsewhere.
