Requested via phone a quote from this company for vinyl fencing to join up existing 6' wood fencing to the two sides of our house. One side about 8' with a 3' gate. the other side about 9' with a 4' gate. Everything was routine in the information intake portion of the quote. After the estimator visited the site and spoke with me over the phone (very nice man), the owner called me and left a phone message saying they did not do dog eared vinyl fences, and offered no instructions about what I should do next, or if he even wanted my business. I called back and requested a quote for the kind of fence he could do. The quote was returned for $1,800, over $100 per linear foot. The quote included absolutely no itemization detail. I thought this was extremely high and wrote this email to the company: Hi, This quote is for $1,800. Even with the gates, over $100 per foot seems extremely high. I received this reply from the owner: Privacy gates ,, with stainless steel hinges and stainless latches are expensive,, 5x5 aluminum inserts also in the 4 gate post are expensive also.. Sure you can get some-one to do for less money-- We have been blessed to be in business now for 28 years-- but not by being the cheapest around-- those folks are out of business!! Take care-- Mclamb fence Based on the estimate I was given, the reviewer in the previous post must have fenced and area 20'x20' for $6000. You be the judge on price and professionalism. My rating reflects mine.

He is reasonably priced and did it all in a day. Everybody stopped and asked us who did our fence. They are easy to work with.
