Riddle Residential Construction

The provider was very attentive in getting the job scheduled and started. I was off of work that week so I was around to see the work being done. My original driveway had cracked and I decided to have it replaced. Riddle (Brent) quoted me a price of $4700 to do the job. He would come by and check on the job which took around 3 days to complete. Doing this time I kept asking him what would he suggest to keep my driveway from cracking again. He made some suggestions and I said ok to the tune of another $2000. All looked good for the first few months. But in Feb. 2013 I noticed a crack in my driveway. I called Riddle and Brent came by with another person. They looked at the crack and said that they would monitor it. Well the crack has gotten worse and there is a second crack I've found. I have been calling Riddle since March 2013 and this is Aug 2013, and nobody has come back out to look at the cracks. They are not even returning my calls now. When I do get in touch with them I am promised that somebody will come by to look at it. Then last time I spoke with Brent at Riddle, he hinted to me that it may cost me $1000 to repair. This is outrageous, concrete should not be cracking within 3 months and I should not have to pay to have it repaired if it does. Concrete should be good for 20 - 30 yrs, this didn't even make it 3 months! I hope that I can upload pictures, because I will. Now please don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about the work, I'm complaining about the issue I'm having when there is a problem. If you decide to us this company, you may be ok if there are no issues after the job is done. I feel that once you have paid for the work, they no longer feel obligated to stand behind their work.

They were exact on their estimate; the price they quoted was the price I paid. They did the work earlier than they anticipated and it did not take longer than they said it would. They said it would take two days and that's exactly how long it took. The driveway looks incredible, and is now correctly graded without any dips or depressions.
