REAGAN & SON GROUNDS MNTNC

Our previous longtime lawn care service dropped off the face of the earth with no warning. So after comparing a few businesses listed in the Yellow pages, I engaged Reagan and Son. I explained what I wanted, and Reagan set the price at $185. a month throughout the year. I lost out on this deal because we hired him right before winter. Like I said, the guys mowed, trimmed, and blew leaves, and it was difficult to get them to do anything else. Our professionally landscaped yard began to look worse and worse. They left the river birch twigs and branches where they laid, and they left fallen tree branches in the shrubs and pine straw on the shrubs. I had some kind of vines poking straight up out of the bushes, an unwanted bamboo plant growing front and center in our mulch, and dead grass, leaves, and pinestraw covering our groundcover. Our biggest issues were the gutters and the weeding. Reagan will only clean out the rain gutters two times a year. We are not sure if he ever did. When the obvious pinestraw filled gutters were pointed out to him, he replied that our gutters could go another month. After addressing the lack of any weeding done, I watched out of my window soon after and saw him or his man multitasking by using a sprayer while cutting the grass with the riding lawn mower. Most of the weeds continued to thrive and the juniper which was "accidentally" sprayed, did not. When different issues were shared with Reagan, he would make promises to take care of it, and then not follow through. When I finally went to Angie's List and hired a new guy (Thank you, Angie), I told Reagan and Son not to come the rest of the month even though he was already paid. I do not recommend this business to anyone needing lawn care.
