Crew was very efficient and carpentry repair was excellent.  We did have leak issues later but they responded to make proper repairs around chimney and along flashing.  If you are professional and work with them as a customer, they will come back as many times as necessary  to assure problems are eliminated.

I hired Norato to replace my asphalt shingle roof, which was about 25 years old and showing a lot of wear. I notified the appraiser of the one known leak I had around the chimney. This was of great concern, since it would always drip through the ceiling during a heavy rain. He told me that the crew would assess the flashing around the chimney and repair it as necessary. When the crew arrived to begin work, they knew nothing about the issue around the chimney. I had to explain it again, since the appraiser had obviously not passed any of my concerns to them. The crew assured me that they would be able to fix the issue. The crew completed their work, but within 2 weeks the same leak occurred again during a heavy rain (February 3rd). I contacted the appraiser immediately (as the rain was still falling and the leak evident); he told me that he would need to speak with the owner of the company to see what he wanted to do about it. This is clearly an issue related to workmanship by the crew. The same problem I had prior to hiring Norato still exists. Their roofing warranty states "This warranty covers workmanship in the application of the roofing material and it also covers an emergency response time of less than 24 business hours to any workmanship failures." I notified Norato immediately upon detection of the leak, but I have STILL NOT heard back from them after nearly 2 weeks! Their roofing warranty is good for 10 years, but I hope it won't take 10 years for them to make this right! I am still waiting to hear back from them.

We had to have the roof repaired after another company did a really poor job. Very responsive and thorough. We have used them several times for other properties.

The leak continues. Mr. Norato came out twice and caulked but that did not solve problem. He said there were holes in the chimney and the caulk should take care of it but it didn't. I called a chimney specialist and he said the chimney was fine and that the leak was due to the flashing, tested it as I watched and added some additional caulk. I called Mr. Norato and requested the flashing to be repaired again (also sent a letter) but never got a response. I cannot recommend the service.

THE OWNER SHOWED US SHINGLE SAMPLES HIMSELF. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THEY DO REALLY GOOD WORK. THAT'S WHY WE HAVE HIRED THEM MORE THAN ONCE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM IN A HEARTBEAT.

WE WERE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO OTHERS. THEY WERE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL. THEY CLEANED UP WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED.
