ALLEN ROOFING CO

Allen was eager to get the job and contacted me multiple times in one day for me to make a decision.  I finally agree, and set up the date for my roof to be replaced.  He and a crew showed up, but then stopped working because he said he didn't have enough shingles and I had to give him a check to go purchase more.  After the job was over there were 12 packs of shingles left - and he took them all!  I had to BEG him to bring some back incase I ever needed to replace any!  One day while I was at work he brought about six shingles and dumped them in my driveway.  About six months later, I noticed a leak in my bathroom ceiling.  I went to the attic and could see where the subroofing was soaking wet.  I called Allen and left a message.  I waited.  I called again.  And waited.  And waited.  And called again.  Finally he returned my call and said he would send someone out the next Thursday.  I took time off from work to be there at the agreed upon time.  No one ever showed up.  I called Allen to tell him.  No answer.  I left another message.  No response.  I finally asked my fiance to call him - Allen answered after the first ring!  He agreed to come out and do the repair, but guess what? He never did.  DO NOT USE HIM!!!!  He will tell you some sob story about his marriage falling apart and how tragic his life is.  Sorry - after two and a half years trying to get this resolved, he gets no sympathy from me.
