Weed Man

In the literature they leave behind after each service they encourage customers to call with any questions. I called and they very graciously said they would send someone out. A day or so later a seasoned member of the team came to inspect the lawn. It turns out lack of watering caused the issue. The Weed Man is there for their customers 100%!

The owner of the company is DISHONEST! I called to get a qoute for cutting my grass every two weeks. The gentleman looked at satellete imagery and gave me a qouted price. I agreed with the quoted price and after 5 months I called to cancel my lawn service because summer had ended and I no longer needed grass cutting. The billing office gave me a bill for 4 times the amount orginal agreed upon and after further explaination I realized they had me in a one year contract. They explained that the way it works is they would cut my grass for 8 months out of the year and not provide service for 4 months yet I was suppose to pay for 12 months. Yes I know that sounds confusing, but that is exactly what they said. I never heard of this before and I asked to speak to someone to figure out the mistake. How could they possible want me to pay for service during months that I did not need lawn care?!  I talked with the supervisor or owner I am still confused on who I spoke with because they are so disorganized, but who ever it was told me I was in a contract. I tried to explain that there was a mistake and he became rude and disrespectful and explained that they had cut my grass and he has run a successful business for 20 years. I explained that he had run a scam for 20 years and I would be contacting the BBB.
I would not recommend using this lawn care service!

I like them. I think they're reliable. I think they provide quality service. They are consistent. I think that they do a good job in taking care of my lawn needs.

Weed Man canvases the neighborhoods wanting customers. I bit on the pitch and scheduled them to come the next week. They came applied treatment. My weeds turned a weird shade on neon yellow. Nothing ever died, I called them back to re-treat as their guarantee states. Yard was re-treated with no visible results except for the weed man post on the lawn. After 5-6 months trying to get the weeds in my yard killed I cancelled service.

They are very knowledgable and helpful. I have used them for regular fertilizing, weed control and soil improvement for several years after using other large and small companies. I recommend them highly.

They came door to door, and that's how I got to know about them.

They do a nice job, my grass comes up looking nice every year.

From beginning to end, the experience was horrendous. They would come out without notifying me first. The major problem was that their level of service was not what was promised. In their brochure, they have a guarantee stating that they'll come out within 48 hours if the customer is not completely satisfied. They didn't come out, they never returned phone calls. They ended up billing me even though they didn't do what was promised. I told them I did not want to pay for this. I made them a fair offer to pay for some of their services; they ignored repeated phone calls, and my next contact was a notification that I was being setnt to collections. I sent them a letter explaining why I was unhappy with their services, along with full payment. I haven't heard back from them since.
