2 service techs arrived as promised. Sprayed lube all over upper springs and rails without any concern of getting lube on painted walls or floor...they did . Did not clean up excess drips or rails . I said I wanted squeal fixed with general check up and maintenance . Did that , but I had to ASK them to check down reverse safety check and everything else . They seemed like they were in a hurry and just wanted to fix the noise and leave asap . Didn't get the feeling that they wanted to do the complete job . They didn't open the garage door opener to check or lube the drive gears which can wear . Asked them to adjust the spring tension on the double door for easier manual lifting in emergency with power off . Tightened ONE spring only.....Have always been told that BOTH springs should be tightened as adjusting only one puts an uneven strain on the door and mechanism which can cause the door to not close evenly on the bottom seal and/or appear crooked . Weren't here for more than 10 minutes or so . Seemed like a very short time for a complete check up and $80 fee . Felt like I had to direct them to do this or that . Was willing to pay an 'expert' to do the service, but next time think I'll do it myself .
