 + -1 moreHe was educated and very impressive. One of the protective coats will be mixed with bucktooth for repelling bees, ants, and wasps. The price might seem a bit expensive if you are not familiar with the extensive process that goes into painting a log cabin, but we think it is very reasonable, especially since they are willing to do it the way we want it done. I got estimates from other companies and they were cheaper, but they did not want to do the hand painting. This was the only company that was willing, so when we get ready to have the work done they will be the ones that we use.
Description of Work: He gave us an estimate to paint our 4000 square foot log cabin ($16,000). There is also a lot of extra trim work around the windows. The estimate included three coats; prep work to make sure the wood is prepared for the paint, and two coats of sealer and stain. Also, I do not want the applications sprayed on. Instead, I want it to be hand brushed, so this was also included in the estimate. He is not cheap, but very knowledgeable and willing to the job the way you want it. He also does not mind travelling 40-50 miles.
