HIGHLY recommend Mark and Mabe head and air.
Reported to Old Republic Home Protection (ORHP) on 6/11. Mabe called about coming on 6/13 but I was at work. They came on 6/14 (Friday evening) and diagnosed the problem. I had a Freon leak and needed an evaporator coil. ORHP called Tuesday, 6/18 to say the part would take 3-5 business days to get in. ORHW called on Thursday, 6/20, to say part needed to be ordered from factory and would take a week to get in. They wanted to make sure I was sure I wanted the part replaced because there would be a restocking fee if I changed my mind. Over the next 2 weeks I was in constant communication with Old Republic and Mabe Heating & A/C trying to find out when my part would be in. This time also fell over the July 4th holiday which delayed things. My part finally came in and the A/C was fixed on 7/9. Mabe was super-nice every time I called. I can't say it was their fault it took so long to get my A/C fixed but it did seem excessive. I think it was a collection of things. It was also my first time dealing with the home warranty company.
It has been a month and my A/C is working great. I would use Mabe again.
PS -- The price above ($60) was what I paid per the agreement with my home warranty company. I do not know the total that was charged or what the home warranty company paid.
