Followup to my previous review. Angies List is not allowing you to put in approximate cost...it was $5,000 not $5!

We agreed on a price and Dan began the work right away.  He advised on the type of plants to get for a shaded area and said we should get ones that were evergreen as well.  He planted the plants amd mulched the area and it looked so nice.  The grass struggled and died due to the heat of the summer, but Dan took his guarantee of getting grass to grow seriously and came back out once the weather cooled.  This time the grass took instantly and looks great.  There are still a few places that need to finish growing in, but the difference is amazing.  
We found out from Dan that he also did tree work and we have had him cut some trees down/top some trees off for us.  He was able to get us a great price on stone for our dirt driveway to our shed and spread it out, he cleared some low hanging tree branches in our driveway.  He came back out and cut out the web worm nests that were very high up out of our trees as well as our neighbor's trees, and has thrown in some of the work at no cost.
Dan is great, very efficient and trys to find the best way to complete your work and will save you money if possible.  We highly recommend him and plan to use him for other projects around our home.  He is professional and true to his word, which is very hard to find in this day and age.  He has great landscaping knowledge and will help you with decisions in this area.  He even offered to pick plants up for us in Raleigh since he was heading down.  Two of the plants we purchased and brought home died, and he planted their replacements for us.
If you need landscaping work done, he should be your first choice!

Dan was here for 4-5 visits and multiple hours. He was very interested in pleasing the customer. Plan was reviewed and followed. He has 28 years of landscape experience and is not afraid of hard work. He has a good eye on design and final outcome. Knows how to guide customers along with his wisdom for those who need guidance. I'll be needing Dan for a long time to get things in shape.
