We just moved from California to North Carolina. My husband and his friend drove the truck cross-country, but we had movers to help load and unload the truck. The day before they left, he had read an article about how many trucks are stolen on the road, so they drove a lot of miles every day to get here really fast. On Saturday he told me they would be pulling into North Carolina around 2am, and he wanted to get it unloaded on Sunday instead of Monday if possible.
The movers I had hired to help us unload on Monday afternoon did not answer the phone on Saturday, and I could not reach them by email either. So, I went online and started calling. This turned out to be very fortunate for us because we found Moving on Up Movers our of Roleville. When I explained my situation to John, he got his team to our house at 7am on Sunday and they had everything unloaded before 10. We had A LOT of heavy boxes, and because of stairs and hardwood floors in the house we are renting, we could not use a dolly...they worked really hard, and only charged us $200.
John, Whim and Fo did a fantastic job.
I will definitely use this company for my next move!
