ATLANTIC COAST CABINETS

I contacted Atlantic Coast Cabinets because they supplied and installed my kitchen cabinets when my house was built.  One of my cabinet doors hinges broke which then made a loud clicking sound each time the door was closed.  I asked that a new hinge replacement be sent and I understood the hinge manufacturer guaranteed them for life.  First call left a voice mail message.  No response.  I had to call back the following day and got to talk to the sales manager.  He said he would look up my paperwork and get back to me.  No response. I called back again.  He said he'd have to send someone out to actually look at the hinge. Appointment date and time was set.  Appointment day came and no one showed up.  I called the sales manager again.  This time he said he talked to the guys in the warehouse and if I texted a picture of the hinge, they could get it.  BUT I would be charged a service call plus installation time for each 1/2 hr.  Really?  To put in 3 screws?  I asked him to order the hinge and have it sent to me and we would install it ourselves.  That was the last I heard from him.  One month and a half later I have the hinge which I ordered directly from the hinge manufacturer myself after waiting a month and figuring he never ordered it.  I had called them (the manufacturer), gave them the information, and they asked that I send the broken hinge to them so they could send the exact replacement.  In a week's time I had 2 new hinges, one as a spare.
