WHEELER & WOODLIEF FUNERAL

We knew Dad was gravely ill and refused to go back to the hospital ever again.  He knew he was dying and wanted to die at home.  Who knows how to handle a death at home anyway?  Not us.  We only knew to call Wheeler and Woodlief, and they immediately talk you through what to do and what will happen.  Immediately, they are there handling the whole situation with gentle professionalism.  They walked us through house cleaning, legal documentation, funeral planning, veterans' benefits - all sorts of unfamiliar things like that.  After the required amount of time, Dad was cremated as he had preferred.  Next I saw him was in a beautiful brushed stainless container with a Celtic cross on it.  We held a church funeral where the funeral home integrated themselves seamlessly with church operations, including lots of music and ritual.  Wheeler and Woodlief were over and over a much appreciated stress reducer at a stressful time, and a true class act.
